Okay gentlemen/ladies,

I have a question for you. What tune do you have for the .22/.25/.30 Ghosts (best results for YOUR GUN). I want to get a bit more insight from the wisdom of the HAM crowd. I have double posted this over on the BRK Facebook group as well and will post these responses there as well. So what is your:

1: Bar set at
2: Power wheel setting
3: Velocity

Average Speed: 897 ft/sec

I like the 18.13gr personally for fun stuff around the house. I've noticed that they do well in the 880-905fps while the 25.39s do well very hot (980fps) in many of the Ghosts I've tested. As for the pressure you stated cool stuff. I like the .22 tuned around 100 for the 18.13gr JSBs.

As far as im concerned anything you have learned from an fx you must put completely out of your head. Daystates seem to be built around 130-140 bar. Im not a engineer but my 177 ghost hp shot 13 gr jsb very well 85 bar but the hammer wheel was useless. Now i have it at 135 bar and can shoot 13 jsb to same as before but can crank the wheel to high and and shoot 13 h&n slugs to 920. So i would suggest to people to try 130-150 and use the wheel to get your desired velocity and thats probably going to be a good tune. As far as air consumption i get the same amt of shots at 85 or 135 bar?

Oh i guess i should add my 25 cal ghost with 135 bar hammer wheel on 9 pushes 33.9 jsb to 924 fps and will shoot moa @ 100

I'm running my 25 cal Ghost at 130 bar, hammer wheel on 10, it send 33.8 JTS at 937 at STD Dev of 2.4 It shoots 5 / 5 shot groups at 1.0 MOA. Must admit the trigger is a bit heavy and needs some work.

If you change the spg in this photo to a slightly lighter 1 you can get the trigger lighter. Its not too hard to do but you must be very carful removing the brass yoke and not to loose the little pin thats in it. If you go to frank links ghost review there is more discussion on doing it

The trigger can definitely be improved with modification, and yes that Franklink thread is great

It takes a AK grip I used a FAB Defense grip and it is a bit bigger and thicker, it is also a nice grippy rubber. So I'm pleased with the change.

Agree with the above have 1 on both my ghosts. I also have changed the butt pad on both for a bisley ( like $30 on amazon) i like it better as its rubber not slippery plastic sticks well in shoulder and if stood on butt on a table to fill with air

Definitely not soft , but an alternative grip. It's what's on mine.

@Franklink I did the spring you suggested. The springs that came were shorter then the stock unit so I stacked them and installed the trigger. Once test I was down to 9-10 once pull for the trigger less then half what it was. I will do a couple calculations and then search for a good source for the springs like a McMaster Carr so everyone can access the springs for their guns. Pleased with the update.
