In order to sell an airgun-related product in the HAM Airgun Community Marketplace, you must:
- Already be a registered member of our Community.
- Have earned more than 100 HAM Airgun Points for your contributions. (Thank you!)
To place your ad, first log in, then navigate to the “Want To Sell” category in the HAM Community Marketplace.

Now click the red 'Post new ad” button.

The system requires you to redeem 100 HAM Airgun Points. When your ad is approved, these Points will be deducted automatically from your account.
You create your “Want To Sell” ad using the form presented to you. It’s quick and easy to do!
Simply select the “Product Type” from the dropdown, then enter the product name, price, description, location and why you are selling in the appropriate boxes. Click the appropriate “radio buttons” to complete the form.

Notice that you will need to add between one and six photographs of the product you are selling. At least one of these MUST include a simple sheet of paper including your HAM Community User Name, the product name and the date you are placing the ad.
This is to indicate that you own the product. Like this…

After you click the red “Submit” button at the base of the form, your ad will be sent for approval by a HAM Moderator.
Obviously this - and the other requirements in the form - will be no problem for any honest seller to comply with. They are intended to create a comprehensive description of your offer, reduce the number of questions from potential buyers and deter scammers.
If none of the photographs includes a clear, legible and large enough indication of ownership, or if there are any other concerns about the ad, it will be deleted by the Moderator.
If not sold, HAM Community “Want To Sell” ads will remain live for 30 days from the date of creation. Make a note of this as the system will NOT issue a reminder and you may want to take action before this 30 period expires!
After 30 days, if not sold, one of two things happens:
- You can choose to let the ad expire.
- You can renew the ad.
If you let the ad expire, it will automatically be transferred to the Classifieds Archive and marked with the Prefix "Archived". It remains available for logged-in HAM Community members to use as a reference. Non-members and members who are not logged-in cannot see the archived Classified ads.
