I have my precision 22lrl that will outshoot just about anything, except maybe a custom Thomas.
I want to use my Corbin press and have a 218 set up currently. I am looking for a mid power set up for 100-150 yards, with the option of 200 yards if needed. But honestly around 150 is max.
The ability to use an airgun in places where I can't use my 22lr is a plus for sure. Some places don't care and I will use both. But there are some that will not want any kind of firearm but they are ok with air. Or there are places that it makes more since for an airgun over powder. And having something that is lower power than a powder gun can be a huge plus!

The simplest solution “horses for courses” a dedicated slug gun and a pellet gun… Getting into airguns to chase .22 rimfire ballistic and energy level? Simply a non starter for me. I would just pull the CZ452 or Ruger 10/22 out the safe and have at it.
) for competition and sip air. 2 hours later slap a .30cal barrel and probe, adjust reg and wheel, bench it for 15 minutes. Done! Ready for coons n Yotes! But yeah ....give me 2 guns, Or 3...or 4 
I mean what if a squirrel shows up and I just got finished setting it up to 96Fpe....what's a guy supposed to do?
