Others Sub-MOA Barrels

Whats interesting is it has the adjustable reg but no hammer spring adjuster.
I noticed this too... that was the adjustment for the balanced valve I believe, I believe Toms design uses an "auxiliary piston" to allow the opposing air to aid in closing the valve after its struck .... and thats what you were adjusting, but I could be totally mistaken, my memory is a little foggy.

So this is a little confusing, is Tom not ditching the old design? and merely upgrading them with external reg and new barrels , while he still works on the new HPS?
We are all confused… it has been in process so long, that it also seems like things changed from 2 years ago when discussions started about this. I was looking yesterday and couldn’t find the threads I was looking for.

I’m sure I’ll butcher this, but this is what I remember taking from one of Tom’s posts… I don’t expect the standard Evols to be different beyond the external reg and barrels. The HPS was the one to get bigger changes including more power, new balance valve, and external hammer spring adj.

That is as I recall. The standard EVOL gets these few upgrades, the HPS will have the other adjustments as well.

Tom said he was not dropping the standard EVOL I think is thinning outa few options and they will get some upgrades but the HPS guns will be the new gun.
that is if things dont change.

So regarding the new model on AOA… Standard Evol with 21” SubMoa barrel…

Does that size look like a 21” barrel to those of you with an Evol or in the know?

The only reason I ask is that Tom’s last update said that they had only completed 24” barrels and next would be 18” and then .22 barrels. Obviously, anything could have changed, but curious if that spec could be wrong…

Based on the fact that it doesn't have the shroud and theres no factory suppressor on it, yes that looks to be a 21 inch barrel.

Also the pricing dropped and changed yet again, now $2795

I cant seen folks that are holding out for the HPS guns having an interest in these but?
I have an EVOL with a 18" barrel and I think its to long I want a 15" someday maybe LOL

I can't believe that this is still for sale, other than folks wanting to hold out for the new HPS with the adjustable dwell. This thing is probably a tack driver.
Except nobody has any clue what the specs on a 21” .30 are supposed to be.

This doesn’t have any of the specs I wanted in a new one, but the lack of communication is starting to sour me on the model...
