We will be releasing the ALL NEW HPS EVOLs very Soon! Not all configurations will be immediately available, we will start with the Mini and the Hunter then followed by the BR/NLR models.

Other than 30 caliber are the 223 and 257. Both of these are aimed at Airgun NLR and similar slug-centric events. The 223 shoots a 40gn at 80+ fpe and the 257 a 68gn at 130 fpe.

The NEW EVOL HPS platform is highly agile and includes long awaited adjustability. All new features are true to the EVOLs roots -precise, robust, simple and effective; nothing to snag, inadvertently bump, or be damaged by harsh field or competition use.

EVOL has always been caliber swappable. With its precise and rigid screw in barrel system, interchangeable chamber inserts, and bolts. EVOL HPS leverages caliber swaps and role changes with multiple barrels, reservoir tubes, chamber inserts, and rail options. More on the barrel options soon.

NEW HPS features:
3rd Generation Slayer type balance valve.
Super easy cocking.
Replaceable High Strength Stainless Steel Probe Pin *
Interchangeable plenum extenders.
Magnetic Caliber plates.
Increased fill pressure to 4k5 (310bar)
Externally adjustable regulator.
Externally adjustable striker force.
Externally adjustable valve dwell (power).

The .223 and the .257 are geared for PRS/NRL22 and long range slug competitions which Ultra-Match is pushing in Florida as well as other venues. Obviously an excellent hunting platform also.
Not all of us airgunners are interested in prs, or powder burner power levels. We just want to shoot pellets accurately out of some of the most well made Airguns on the planet.

It is a personal choice of course, but the demand for it is there. It might not be your cup of tea, but a competition we just held in Leesburg, Florida in July was very well received. Many shooters were immediately hooked on pushing lead at targets 150-200-250 and 300 yards. The excitement was electric especially when the steel hog target was pushed out to 500 yards and it was hit several times. There’s a gun that fits both pellet and slug shooters in the Evol line.

I don't think I'll be getting rid of my mini to replace it with one of these, as I don't really need the adjustability as it's set it and forget it for my shooting. However I see many more shooters will be flocking to these with the newer upgrades even more so than they have been lately. I will get the cocking system upgrade though 👍

I think you are exactly right. I'm not replacing mine either but I am getting that big plenum. Innovation, that helps the company, helps us too. Even if we don't want to use it.

The current Evol line up has pellet pushers already in a bunch of variations, I don't see any problem, I also think the .257 was a great choice in caliber for BC and distance shooting.

I get wanting all the adjustability the new HPS has but are us pellet shooting evol lovers really wanting to tinker/tune? I don't think so, I think its just the brain saying damn I want the new thing even though my old thing is just as awesome.

For the long distance shooting these are geared directly for , the on the fly tuning is 100% necessary due to possible hunting/competing at different elevations and temperatures where those things really can put a hindrance on the wrong tune when you're shooting 150+ yards.

Edit, I know what I am purchasing next, @American Air Arms I will 100% be ordering one of those BR/NLR in .257 (or .223, undecided at the moment I think ) :D but wow I am freaking excited.

I get all this, but all I wanted was a simple 25 cal option 🤷🏻‍♂️

Let me expand!

I’ve been an avid 25cal shooter most of my airgun pcp hobby. Between their bc (for a pellet), their power, efficiency, and cost of ammo, I believe it to be the best caliber of all pcp caliber (I’m my opinion).
I bought my evol 30, because I needed more knock down power than my mini, and the evol fits me better than ANY other gun I’ve owned or tried in the past. If the 30 will be my only option, then so be it, but I’m not looking for a completely new gun. A 25cal 15” hunter with no belles and whistles would be my idea evol. No need for slugs, those jsb king heavies have a better bc than the 44gn jsb 30 cal, and they’re easier to shoot accurately. Hands down my favorite pellet.

Looks extremely well thought out, would expect nothing less from Tom! No doubt they'll be winners. Not my cup o' tea, just don't have the interest or need for slugs (& precious little access to the ELR where they shine).

Like @Madeintheuk, biding my time until a .25 designed to sling the King Heavies is available (preferably in one of those magnificent Steve Corcoran stocks).

Understand though, that a small company like AAA can't be all of the things to all of the people at once. Must... exercise... patience...
