Others Sub-MOA Barrels

So any news??

The company seems to have gone quiet. Emails going unanswered now
Maybe give aoa a call and ask if they have any info cause i know for example they have had 28” ghost barrels in and not listed on the web site. Since they are so close together over there perhaps they have some sub moa barrels that aren’t listed anywhere. Its worth a shot anyway if nothing elese they may be able to give you more information.

Just my thoughts but I know Tom will make money either way by offering his barrels (Sub MOA) to other competitors. I would think that he would have introduced his barrels first to the AAA lineup and have them available out the door.

I can't wait to see these come online and see what they can really do. With Tom behind them I'd expect nothing but excellence
I have been shooting PCP's going on 5 years and still learning but, I wonder how many non-bench rest air gunners know their twist rate and the fps they are design for? also choosing the right ammo to accomplish their goals? You may have a 0 MOA barrel already, just need to find the right ammo to complement the barrel?

My understanding is they were blanks and Skout was to finish them, instead they just slapped them in. The barrels require a bunch of work to be able to carry the SubMOA name, what happened wasn't good for anyone.
It still seems dumb to me to have them finish it and still use the name... This was like the worst case scenario, but even if Skout did a half-decent finish, it still wouldn't be the same as if SubMOA had finished it... There should be some distinction. Do we know who finished the barrels for EdGun, BRK and others?

I believe the barrels for Edgun and BRK are not blanks and fully drop in finished units.

From what I have been told and have gathered the barrels for the BRK are drop in units and ready to go. No finishing or anything needed to get them to shoot. Like Mountain Sport said :D

And if Skout smithed the barrels themselves then if they don't shoot that is on them, and not SubMOA. I have seen many people spend a LOT of money on powder barrels only to have a shotty gunsmith bugger them up and ruin a terrific barrel blank. It happens and it isn't good when it does.

I have said it before, but I would rather something GOOD come out as a product, rather than something RUSHED and have it be a waste of time. If it does take longer to get a great barrel out for us, then so be it. But we are all a little impatient and always want new good things :D

Just got off the phone with the guys down at AOA.... and what I was told is that drop in barrels will not be heard for quite some time. They are having issues with getting enough barrels for the rifles that need the barrels. So if you are holding out for something for an upgrade for an Evol, or like me a Ghost........ keep waiting or look else where.

Now this is what I was just told, as of 5 minutes ago from AOA. Unless Tom pops on and says something this is what I am going with. This WAS NOT FROM TOM BUT A DISTRIBUTOR. I don't want to make any false claims or anything like that. If this is wrong in any way please correct me Tom and I will change the post.
