Even though I have not seen anything negative about this retailer, it is a known seller here on HAM.ouch that sucks
I hope that wasnt from a reputable sore front.
Were they loose in the box like that- with few chunks of foam thrown in?Not pellets, but slugs received Friday arrived with damaged tins. A couple of them were really crushed. The box wasn’t the sturdiest and the packing material was lacking. Do not feel like dealing with a return, so will sort as best I can.
Yes. Only exception was that the tins were in the thin cardboard box that multiple tins come in, but it was not in great shape either. Were they loose in the box like that- with few chunks of foam thrown in?
That is sad. Every retailer that does a lot of mail order, knows that loose packing like that causes most damage. I know it’s a hassle, but I’d send them an email. In the long run, it’s hurts them not fixing those kinds of mistakes.Yes. Took your advice and sent email. Owner answered, apologized and explained they had a new person in to pack shipments while the owner was out at a competition. Said newbie will be receiving some remedial instruction so this sort of situation never happens again. That is sad. They have done exactly that for me before also.THIS is why I like Pyramyd Air every dealer should stand by what they sell.
Robbie, did you order these from Pyramyd air? If so, it sounds like order was fulfilled by Amazon. Whew, those look like my older of AEA's but they were well packed and protected. Box was very sturdy as well, and was in perfect shape. Crushed cans before they were ever shipped out. Let them know, include that picture. Simple as that. They will make it right. Not pellets, but slugs received Friday arrived with damaged tins. A couple of them were really crushed. The box wasn’t the sturdiest and the packing material was lacking. That has to be time consuming, casting pellets. Swaging slugs is relatively straightforward, but even so I can’t see me pumping out more than 75 to 150 per session. I would really like to hear more your pellets. My pellets always arrive in perfect condition as long as I do my part when casting them.![]()
