I looked through the general forum and couldn’t find a thread for new purchases. Maybe I overlooked it. If so, please let me know! In the meantime, who doesn’t love a thread to show off their latest?

I just got a new DonnyFL Yokozuna for my Gunnar today. Looking forward to trying it. It seems really well made and you can see though west into even the smallest details. Like the grub screw that locks on the QD having a polymer tip to protect the threads. Also added a Saber Tactical bottle clamp. Was hoping to move my bipod more forward. Not sure if it will negatively affect accuracy though. We’ll see. Oh, and ditched that awful stock that came on the rifle for Magpul PRS Gen 3. Was looking at swapping the grip to a nice Ergo….. But, I honestly REALLY like the factory grip. A lot!

Anywho, time for the best part!

Looks absolutely amazing with that stock! The Helix SFP scope on my .22 Ghost I guess would be my latest purchase. This gun is excellent minus the plastic grip, and trigger pull weight. Looking at a Hogue AK grip (very few options in Canada!!) for it for some more comfort, and will chop rear spring at the same time. Other than that good to go!

...I probably should have as well but I believe that optimal results will require different twist rates for slugs and pellets...

...I didn't understand how slow the twist rate is on the Ghost HP barrels...I wonder what the theory is on that...

...they seem to shoot well enough, setting world records and all, but this could explain why they don't do so well with slugs, eh...

Could you have a grip shipped in from out of country, or are there regulations on parts coming in? I’m genuinely curious. I know I have friends that will have parts imported regularly and it’s fine as long as it’s not a receiver, but that’s here in the US.

Slow twist rates and pellets do better usually than a faster twist rate. Pellets are drag stabilized so don't need much twist to be accurate and have less problem with spiraling further down.range due to overstabilization with a faster twist

I had been looking at Fab Defense in the US, lots in stock and it is a common one to go with for the 👻 but no dice, will NOT ship to Canada. Importing gun stuff is a no go here, Trudeau needs to go bad.....but let's not get political 🤭 With the increase in tactical Air guns and stocks I hope companies will carry more goodies for these guns! How ridiculous is it? I can get scope rings from the States but not a scope as an example 🙄
 
Another package today. A new IR illuminator. I’m still waiting on the Wraith Mini to use with it. A week today with no shipping update. Called Palmetto State yesterday for the automated system to tell me it was in processing and to please allow 5 days….. Oh well, we’ll test it tonight if it’s not raining and I’ll try to post pictures.

...I like my Mini Wraith enough to be checking out the thermal model...

...I am using it on the Ghost now...seems like a great optic for the Ghost....

...the only real issue I have had with mine is the lens cover comes off when I try to open it...

...I just pre ordered thee clamp...pretty pricy...

...apparently the clamp is now in stock @ AoA...I was just notified...

...I am going to have quite the collection of unused parts...!!!...I am reluctant to mess with the .22 set up...

...I probably should have just bought a .30 cal rifle...

...I will use that bottom rail as soon as it shows up...I want to protect that bottle...
