My new Panthera MKII is shipping today and so I hope to have it by Friday. There’s virtually no user reports from mere mortals like me ( non-YouTuber). I hope to post some of my results. Where I ordered the rifle from had no pellet liners. I have one in a cart elsewhere, but I’m trying to decide if I should buy the pellet liner $99 or wait for the heavy barrels. I’d just hate to be waiting six months for a heavy pellet barrel.

Bill if it were me i buy a liner and a sleeve. My thinking is if it shoots well you may be happy to stay there. The new barrels i think will be very expensive and you may decide you don’t need it. Even if you decide to buy the new barrel you will then know if it was worth it you won’t be waiting all summer and its only $100

I decided the same thing lol. I placed the order along with a bag rider and some ammo from @High Pressure

Don't worry about it, you bought at a great time. Nothing is really going on and there are no huge storms anywhere. It's just general incompetence not a major problem. Though some would argue, successfully, that is a major problem, lol.

I hope you’re right lol. It started moving in Long Island at 9pm last night, then at 10pm I started getting the delayed messages. It hasn’t tracked since. I almost drove to Talon Airguns to pick something else up.

Utah Airguns called me yesterday at lunchtime. It was the same guy that sold me the gun, Thaddeus, nice guy to talk to, and he was checking on how the gun was working out and if he could help me with anything else on it. We talked for a while and I told him some of the stuff I ran across. I know that they are looking for more business and good for them because this is how you do it. Mail order isn't that bad, and you can always hang up. I really liked dealing with UA, and will again. I think they got screwed by FX corporate too. I really wanted to ask about that but the wound is still pretty fresh, so I left it alone. I still haven't heard anything on what actually went down with that and I am curious, especially now that I have an FX too.

It started moving in the UPS system at 8pm Tuesday in Long Island. At 9pm UPS sent out the dreaded “Delayed due to conditions beyond our control” alert. No updates yesterday. No updates today and so late in the afternoon I contacted UPS. At first they gave me the run around. Then they called me and told me that it was missing and that they have no idea where it is or what happened to it and suggested that it might have been stolen. They told me to contact the seller so that they can initiate an investigation. I did that and the seller of course told me that it will show up and don’t worry about it. Maybe it will, it’s not like I have any options at this point. I’ll have to wait and see. Of course the the barrel liner, carbon liner, bag rider and ammo will be here tomorrow.

I hope it works out for you, that's a terrible feeling, I know. These kinds of things should not happen in-country, especially with barcode computer tracking everywhere. Good luck!

Well, I balked at their $53 Shiptection fee to insure it for damage, loss or theft. It’s double what UPS would charge for $2400 insurance. That’s because the store gets a cut of the fee. But, because of the value, I said screw it and paid it. The part that really sucks is that it has to be missing for 20 days before I can claim it and then wait for them to process it. Meanwhile I get stuck with the parts if I don’t end up with the rifle. It’s ironic that I picked the Panthera MkII because it was in stock and available lol. Oh well. I’m so happy to be here to discuss it and will enjoy the lemonade if that’s what it comes to. More time to evaluate the options- there’s always a positive side. It did do a number on the little bit of shooting that I did today - it was harsh lol.
