We are working on streamlining our product line so it is understandable that the AoA sales team is unclear what is coming.
You can bet we will have BR guns available just like the one Claudio Flores won EBR with as well as some new sporting versions too.
All our energy has been going into...
The original EVOL is not being discontinued but the line-up is being thinned out. 22 mini and 22 carbine will remain but the 30s will be part of the HPS line. The only change to the original EVOL is they will have an externally adjustable regulator. This adds value without significant...
Our reg has some features that do make it a better match than others. First, all regulators that we are used to seeing in conventional airguns are of similar design. These regulators have an inherent slope in the output. Meaning, as the reservoir pressure declines, so does the regulated...
Maybe or related to the internal finish we apply at American Air Arms. The 5R style rifling is intended to avoid sharp intersections at the land/groove in both the pellet and bore; most agree this is superior to "straight wall" rifling in regards to leading.
I was told that all AEA and JTS...
Yes, that barrel came off the line on Tuesday and was installed on wednesday. While we are still learning about the behavior and finish of the Sub-MOA barrels but I can make a few statements.
1) Very little seasoning is required; maybe 10-15 shots.
2) They seem to shoot a lot of pellets with...
LOL, EBR 100 yard measures at 108 or something very close to 100m. We still have 15 points to go and many Xs.
If there is ever a slug comp at EBR, I agree maybe 200y BR.
For the EVOL we have 223,22 and 30 cal barrel that absolutely shoot slugs!
There are going to be plenty of offerings for EVOL. Barrel manufacturing is complex and the que is long. There is something in the que for everyone and we'll be making announcements as they become available.

A fantastic EBR! The competition gets more intense and the scores creep higher each year. The one constant - the range at Rio Salado is always unforgiving and unpredictable!
Congratulations to all that made the podium; no small feat!
Claudio was at the top of his game today. Despite his target getting cross shot before he fired his first round and being tucked up next to the dreaded berm he performed admirably; of course the EVOL HPS with our Sub-MOA barrel was a perfect fit!
Congratulations to Claudio 😝

You can overload very easily; lead is a highly studied topic and shooting sports rarely registers in most studies. Lead combined into organic compounds is magnitudes more dangerous than elemental lead. Still, we need to be good responsible stewards...
HPS has morphed into High "Performance System" Yes the mini 30 will shoot pellet weight slugs like the 49gn NSA and RMR slugs.
There will be multiple barrel options in 30 cal for both pellets and slugs.
Yeah, I would agree with the statement on twist slower twist rates allowing to push the forward speed some.
My interest is primarily in 30 cal at the moment; with newer gun designs, velocities can now be pushed into what was previously the "no go" region in terms of conventional thought and...
This is great work! With the growing trend of pushing pellets into the 950s, a BC determination in this range would be invaluable.
Any idea how your results correlate with the FX and Lab Radar dopplers?
If you have an older EVOL before our branded OEM gauges the fill foster will use a 1.5X8 https://americanairarms.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/E-100-0102-00-B1.pdf
For all EVOL after that use the 1.5X7
