Yeah… I shoot a lot . If I had thought I’d love pcp rifles that much, I’d have went big… But as hey say,who knew… Plus getting toys now bf I retire..Fixed income then..lol

Still I can't see buying a gun I can't shoot stand alone as is out of the box .. having to buy a nice guns money worth of stuff to make it is silly ... Real silly .. spend 500+$ than have to spend another 200 & 300$ just to be able to shoot it .. lol you got to be kidding ...lol

PCP opens up a whole different arena. Probably a bit like getting your first car.

Life is a experience, having choice enhanced that experience.

Owning 2 compressor's helped independence, definitely kept a few friends and myself shooting.

Plus I like spending.
Nothing on credit, if I can't buy outright it off limits.

Lol... Even my first car had a motor and steering wheel to jump in and drive it ... Not buy a car and then need to go buy a motor and steering wheel to use it .. thing is you got a gun without that costly support it's pretty useless..

That's where the logic fails.

The car, you have to purchase gas, or produce your own, like a PCP compressor.

Man I try to go pcp alot .. I'm still waiting on someone to show me a eureka moment to turn me around and just do it .. like a hat GX I just posted on e5?? I mean I can buy 2 nice hw that shoots right out of the box all day everyday only support cost is pellets .. grab it cock it load it and shoot it . No added $$ accessories to do so . No pump/compressor to shoot no optics to aim . Ready to shoot standalone .

Oh well maybe something will convince me to one day .. yes one day

Compressor maintenance and upkeep is peanuts, I spend more on shoes annually, just pushing the car.

Nothing wrong with springers I love ‘em so much that I sold the tx lol. Can a springer produce 30 fpe without jumping all over and being a 60 pound cocking force? Let alone hit your intended target? My favorite was my R7 I loved it so much I sold it but it was accurate

Hard no on the evolution my man, pcps came before springers remember, and competed with black powder. It's engineering and science, pushing the limits, competition, thinking outside the box....but definitely not 'evolution'. Your car analogy works perfectly though! Cars are great till it runs out of gas/battery life, then you tank/charge up again. Buuut pcps run on plain old, free, avaliable everywhere air. And yes compressing it is either hard work or pony up $$ for a compressor or 5 if you go the cheap route and shoot a ton.

Can't put too much faith in the power grid but gurentee the power bill is coming working or not ..

I'm in agreement, PCP came first. It actually, even in a period of war was classed as not fair, silent and deadly.
Austrian pioneers, hated by many unfamiliar with silent weapons.

You figure guys near made it all from scratch by hand . No cnc , no metal shops, no electricity, ect.... Heck probably no collage wall paper .. just a guy with skills to do stuff from nothing..

So the compressor, PCP in theory came before the springer.
It's a bit like what came first, chicken or the egg.

Thanks, it's going to be a few months progress but I'm optimistic.

I bought this one about a month ago and have been using it A LOT (ran about a 150 rounds through my AEA 9mm - recharging it every 5 or 6 shots). It will run on 110v or 12v …..only $150 with a 3 year full warranty for only $15 more ( I plan on putting a lot of air through it to push it to the max for 3 years to see how it holds up…for the money, not sure you can go wrong).
