I shall remain strong!! But man o man tis a workout. I'll be fine just might have to shoot the ghost less. ........ Tuning and Testing eats air! I've been off all week.....my list of house chores have suffered a bit

Hand pump helps you exercise, and a lot of us here can probably use more exercise. Liking the Hill G9 I got with my 3622 so far. Of course, only have topped the gun off a fee times.

Yea pcp equipment is expensive, but I guess it really depends on your uses as to whether it makes sense to go pcp route. For me, I gave up springers a few years ago, and im not talking cheapos. I had them all , HW , diana, air arms. All tuned beautifully, great shooters great for plinking and short range occasionally pesting or hunting. But they don't even hover in the same realm as a pcp.

For me and what I do, I need good power and accuracy out to 100 yards for pest shooting. I've owned 6 compressors, 3 yong heng, 2 vevor portables and now my gx battery powered portable. The yong hengs are worth every penny of thier price tag and if you are just filling guns, you'll probably never wear it out. The vevors were crap, pure and simple. No support, no parts, no good. The little gx is absolutely awesome, solid build, serviceable and easy to maintain. I fill my 74 cu ft bottle with the yong heng, and take the little compressor for easy top offs when in the field.

I wouldn't shy away from pcp because of the filling hassle. Thier superior performance out weighs thier con of filling by far.

Ouuu even better! Soren how you liking your MTC scopes? I am returning my king cobra, Terrible scope for the money. My 2 Hawkes are half the cost and beat the crap outta the MTC, sad.

I was thinks ng on that hill cost and got 20 hrs on it thing .. what's that at 1.20 pre minute pre fill 70 a hr. ... Just to shoot a pellet ? LoL.. got to be kidding ..

I think we all get. You're not a PCP guy. But thread after thread and post after post of negativity towards PCP is getting tedious. If you wanna stick with springer then just do it. You're in the minority while 98% of us others are enjoying their PCPs. Quit pissing on our parade and just go shoot your springers already. Jebus Christmas this is getting so old.

Ah cmon think of it as your car . All it needs to propel it occupants is a tank gull of gas, every week. We all know you'll cave, or regret not giving it a go. Clearly your always at the window peering through the glass...many shiny, new, beautiful pcps out there nowadays. I just dumped a pigeon 40 yards away sitting down, offhand with a 25 grain pellet (up in a tree)....try that with your HW, 55FPE at the muzzle, probably 40FPE at the bird. Biggest feather cloud I ever seen. I compete with my brother/friend who shoot subsonic .22lr. Can't do that with my TX or slavia!

Clearly your always at the window peering through the glass...many shiny, new, beautiful pcps out there nowadays. Years ago I lasted 1 weekend with a hand pump. Never again.
Used a Yong Heng for 3 years then bought a hill compressor when they first came out. No regrets .

Personal choice, I will always respect.
Sometimes causing bewilderment, often amusing me, tickling my inner devil.
Personal thoughts simply prompted by my wife's determination earlier today, I will get these skin tight denims on she muttered constantly.
Some forms of self denial amuse me.

May I shoot 50 yards everyday near all day regularly on irons with my hw or Gamo .. 7/8 bull when scoped on random Walmart cphp tin pellets. ...

I was just doing bucket&stick at 30y on irons in 1 inch .. I mean come on, not much a selling point ..

Nothing wrong with onboard power but there’s always a price. It’s recoil , hold sensitivity, multi pump( arms fall off). Price of pcp of course is just that: price tag. Both ok to use just what are you willing to spend? Price of elbow grease or just cave in and buy a compressor ? I love taking my tx out because that’s all I take just my tx and pellets but it’s still hold sensitive

At the rate hw is going with no guns in a store and gone up a 100$ there tip toeing at looking not so good vs a decent budget PCP compressor cost .. heck darn near equal total pricing now in a sale .

Heck a Diana stormtrooper and amazon sub 200$ box compressor gets a guy going cheaper then a hw .

I don't doubt your accuracy I've seen it, more so the down range power. I laugh at .25/30 cal springers. Throw a baseball ....has about same trajectory. My 2 .177 springers are excellent, and I may have hit that bird with em but they would most likely just be wounded.
