My Ghost is the most expensive (by far) airgun i have and it laughs at 'neglect'...my wood-stocked AAs get lavished in oil on all metal and wood parts, conditioned in the house and then placed back in their savior case after shooting...the Ghost?...back in its case with zero thought. Black guns are so confusing

And that's 100% why i will never own a Daystate Blackwolf or the like. I love nice guns dont get me wrong, but every single one i own has been clunked, dropped, or flopped onto/into something regardless of how careful I am it seems. The goal of airgunning is to lower the stress not increase it. I can still remember the sound of my TX200.... hitting concrete....

Same here. Never did that to a cheap gun. Expensive guns? Drops, hit, scraped and so on

Mike, did you get the pump with the separator up top? Mine is on the bottom, uses the color change particles.

I'm 73 y/o and to me, this sounds more like downsizing as we get older. I may be way off base and I apologize if I am wrong and no judgment either way. All I can say is, I ride road bikes with hi-pressure tires that are no pleasure to pump up. A hand pump just for that purpose is exhausting sometimes and no, they don't like to hold air daily. I would keep the small pump just for that reason alone. What's the harm since you already have it even with occasional use? Good luck with your decision!

That's something I never considered. I am a fully traditional wood stock lovin' guy. The ability to not worry about that furniture- I'll rethink my aversion to black tactical...
