Ghost What don’t you like about the đź‘»?

I have, at one point, been so disappointed in my Ghost that I contemplated parting with it. The trigger being the worst part, the shot count was not very good either. I read the manual several times, but that didn't help. As previously mentioned the sub 12 airgunner video helped me fix the trigger. I studied a bit more about tuning, and made more adjustments. Long story short, I have shot more pellets from that rifle than all others combined in the last couple of months. Having to change out some optics contributed to this, but it is becoming enjoyable. Don't know if it will make the top of the heap, but it's getting closer. It's a .177 HP in case it matters.

what is your shot count?
everything I have read about the trigger has placed it lower on my want list I don't conceder myself a trigger snob but I don't care for the trigger on the wife's concept and if that's any indication I know I won't like it. I still plan to get one but the priority is lowered concederbly
shot count is very much less a issue for me?

I haven't checked it since the tuning, but I've noticed a marked improvement.

I would be interested in the shout count base on speed and pellet weight your shooting next time your out shoot.
personally if I can get two or three mags worth I am good with it.

My ft ghost which is a 177 hp, will give around 100 shots on a 200 bar fill! Thats with the lightest hammer spring, 100 bar reg shooting 13.4 jsb to 805 fps for 19.5 fpe.

Oh, way more than that. If I had to guess, id say it's closer to ten mags now. Running the 13.4 @ 835, or the 10.3 at 920. Both run well, but the 13.4 just a bit better.

I am getting 55ish shots (.22) making a clean 53FPE with Mrds. The Ghost does not have a bad shot count. If I tuned it down for the 18.13gr I'd bet I'd match the Ham review ghost....if I recall it got a sweet 90+ shots on a 250 bar fill.
I think that a large part of my initial impression was that my other .177 HP (Red Wolf) gets over 400 shots per fill.

Have you tried a different hammer spring on it? That may net you a bit more S-P-F as well on it....Definitely not gonna compare to an electronic gun, though for efficiency I'd think?! That's mighty good on the Red Wolf👍....that would last me weeks🥳

No, I have the stock set up. It improved after I tuned it a bit. I'm close to a hundred shots, and that's around what my wolverine R used to get. What I'm saying is that the Red Wolf skewed my perception of what reasonable expectations should be. The rifle is happy now, and that's most important. I have some long range testing to do. If it works well I'll leave it alone.

Evol gets my vote every time. I like BRK products, don't get me wrong. But if you're selling that Lelya to upgrade, go all the way for an AAA product. BTW, those triggers are always nice. Yes I am a *proud* trigger snob.
if only AAA made a .177 they'd have my money instantly

My only complaint is, the rifle is loud at ear level. Has a noticeable loud snap, pretty much regardless of caliber or power level. I actually wear an ear plug in the right ear. Have done a lot to try and improve this issue. Changed pellet probes, breech seals, barrels, power settings and more, but after 20,000 rounds in total, shot through .177, .22 and .30, I’ve given up trying to fix it.
I have all barrel options including a .20 but my ghost is very quiet when reg pressure is set correctly and a moderator is used

In the time since this all started I have shot several hundred pellets thru my Ghost. I was very close to ordering a ghost carbine to be honest. Safe to say that it has brought me around. The only thing that stopped me was the release of the Black Wolf.

the Black pup has me rethinking a Ghost but I am still on the fence could go either way.
I plan to just watch and see how the Black Wolf does for a while.
that is unless the wife hits the lotto then its on!
