What did you buy/receive today?

That was interesting. I would stress out over working on something that old too. It's hard enough getting parts for a new gun, lol.
The key I've found is to buy three ... make one that works really well and looks great out of the full group ... make at least one more that's ok (nice) and all or mostly complete and sell it outright ... and then sell the remaining parts left over from it all to make up at least some of the expenses you have into it all .....

The profile and grease groove look pretty much exactly like my Cowboy bullets (125 gr and close to the 158 gr) for my Cowboy Action revolvers .... Ruger Vaquero's in .38/.357 ... I shoot Desparado's and some that I pour myself.
That's because they are Desperado 125gr bullets. :ROFLMAO: I may try some of their other weights as well and after I find what the gun likes I will get a Lee mold and start casting my own. It is good to have one part tin for the lead to fill out the mold well, so any that don't shoot well will just get added to my pure lead to make it cast better. I may try 98-158 and only shoot 3 shot groups to keep the speed on the higher end for them. Good or bad they won't go to waste. Since they are solids, my hope is they will be about the same length as the NSA 110 hollow point that Ezana4CE uses in his gun. Because of his testing, I have some of those coming for my gun as well for a comparison. The end game is to find what the gun likes that I can get cheap Lee molds for and make my own. I know that the Lee 158 round nose works well but I would rather not go that heavy if I don't have to and I prefer a flat point.

Today I got a micro soldering iron, with a fine thin tip. I should now be able to reach the screw and melt the loctite so I can swap my sidelever on my FX, if it has enough power. I need to get back to that but it has been so windy that I haven't had the opportunity to shoot much for groups anyway.
