Well, in airgun life anyway....
Bought a walnut HW stock at the Carlisle show yesterday. Wasn't sure what it fit, but I thought it was for a 30. Seemed long, but its not OEM and I couldn't remember if my 50 had two fore end screws or one central screw a la 30/35.
Bought it anyway, without even looking for a 30 to compare it too. Oh, how impetuous!
It's not a 30 stock after all, but a but a 50 stock. It fits nicely, though the fore end extends about 1/4" longer than the pivot block does. It isn't very noticeable, and I'm probably going to forget about it by tomorrow.
I'm very pleased to have 3 HWs in walnut.
Of course, I'll need to track down a walnut stock for my 30 now....
