Others The “green goblin” Contour S6 .22

I had a walnut stocked "Brocock Concept Elite S6" with the same breech and magazine system as your Green Goblin.

I owned it for 4-5 years, shot A BUNCH of pellets out of it, and never had a problem with the gun.

I remember reading at one point that the little pawl on the magazine progressing mechanism is fragile, but never personally had any issues with it.

Brocock, prior to the Daystate acquisition, carved themselves a market niche by making solid little guns. Small, compact, of modest power, and quite reliable.

Through out the years of reading all the airgunning forums, I have always heard that they were very solid shooting little guns and all the owners loved the ergos. Judging by the condition of that gun the previous owner absolutely loved it and trusted it enough to always use, because it doesn't look like it spent too much time with the safe queens. Good for you, for giving it a second shot!

Yeah, being unregulated and having solid (real) barrels, they are just the kind of guns that can be leaned in the corner by the back door for trustable first shot accuracy.

Pesting tools versus doted-on temperamental little safe princesses.

I have several tins of JSB 15.89s that nothing else likes, and the Goblin shoots them well enough, but the H&N Barracudas 18.13 are the winner to me, just not many left.

(Pure luck on that .7 MOA, I started to get excited then reality set in 😅)

Ah i love pellet testing!!
Of course it likes the M-lights too😆🙄
... the CPHP ain't bad either. I have no experience with the Jsb 15.89 in anything but I have (and love!) the 15.89gr Hades. Under 40Y they are pesting lazers.... Nice to have a pcp that isn't drop dead gorgeous for pesting.

It was definitely enjoyable 👍. Yeah I’m lucky the goblin is no “pellet princess”.

I purchased the 15.89 for the semi auto marauder that I returned and they were spot on.

Speaking of pesting…. Getting ready to make a post.

Any advice for this would be appreciated.
