Ol' ruff been pestering me to pop him a squirrel. He's been looking and treeing a few but till today this one did not excape my eye . He was pleased and told me it was about time and over due.

As kids we'd step outside with the crosman or slavia and our cat new exactly what that meant. Almost better than a hunting dog. 20 feet in front of us staring at the trees waiting for the feather clouds to rain down. Quite often he would catch the birds in midair and eat em whole in a matter of minutes. Definitely not catch and release. He'd pass on the starlings though Good memories!

My JRT is a free spirit, and I like her that way, so I don’t try and make her do too much. She has the basics and is great with those. It takes every fiber in her body to sit and stay when I open the office window, which only means one thing. Haha
My last JRT who passed two years ago was an easy to train proper lady. This new one is a force of nature.

My new girl, Jetty, came to us at 6 weeks old. She went to work with me every day and became a member of the office. She would go on morning walks with at least 8 of us. I still take her every week or two, she wants to go every day. The folks at the office expect her and demand her if it’s been too long. We have a pretty stressful job, so it’s good for everyone.
