One step forward, two steps back

Damage is at the breech end I presume?

No, right in the choke that’s what’s nuts .

It happened when I was trying to drill out six pellets that were jammed in the muzzle.

Let’s just say that I don’t have the best history with Airgun barrels .

Cleaned and polished again.



While I had the barrel out and before I polished it, I decided to take a few JTS pellets after doing the very unscientific fingernail test to see which ones were the hardest alloy and pushed those through the barrel skirt first.

I’ll see what it looks like tomorrow .

I put about 150 pellets through it today then shot a 25 and 50y five shots five groups. Left to right working up the target.
