Hi all…been a while since since posting. Well Feb 25 I finally got new shoulder hardware on my left side. All went well and minimal post surgery problems. I’ve been doing Physiotherapy for 7 weeks now. Yesterday I finally broke out my old Nitro Venom .22 (Crosman) and did some plinking. Fortunately prior to surgery I was in practice of breaking barrel with my right arm with minor assist from the left. That’s what I did yesterday. It’ll be a bit longer before my left arm will be strong enough. Anyway…it was so rewarding to shoot again. Even though I had some scope issues I finally got dialed in at 35+ yards and it was great. I did limit my 72 yr old self asto not over due my out of shape “break barrel muscles”. Just wanted to let you all know there is life after shoulder surgery. Next challenge is getting back on my bicycle🤣. Stay well all👍😉

Welcome back! Glad to hear that everything went so well 😁

Isn't getting older fun? I had my right shoulder replaced and was back to shooting my springers fewer than six months later. For the first month, I wasn't allowed to move my shoulder at all, then it was constant PT and strengthing. Don't overdo it, but don't slack off either. Promise yourself a new HW at the end of your PT. Just don't allow yourself to go down the pcp rabbithole. You'll never be able to climb out. Orv.
