Hi all. I’m considering getting a shoulder replacement within the next year. I’m 72 and have been Break Barreling for 40 years and have the addiction. My question is if any of you all have had a replacement and was your air gunning affected by it. My left side is pretty trashed and painful so I switched to cocking with my right arm. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience. I know I could go PCP but economic situation won’t permit that path, plus the previously mentioned BB addiction. TIA have a Great Holiday Season and Stay well👍🙏😉

Good luck with the surgery. I have not personally had shoulder surgery to be able to give you any insight, but depending on the type a return should be viable. Maybe a nice pumper for PT to get you back to your springer loves. Might want to leave the magnums alone.

Fortunately I have an old Benji 347 that I can use for “therapy “. Great idea ,Thanks👍😉

I would not give up on sprinters just yet! I am a retired Occupational Therapist that has worked in rehab of many shoulder injuries/surgeries. I've seen patients have amazing recoveries with hard work. I had a knee replacement that has not destroyed my mobility. I love my sprinters and I would not sell yours just yet!
