Reality vs YouTube gun performance for the new guys

If that kinda stuff is going on, really going on, you would think the Airgun community would stand against that crap. Break em

from sucking eggs. Any business doing that shouldn't be in business long.
My thoughts are this, if you feel it gives you piece of mind then do it. I never have and never will.

I do not believe that they are blatantly taking peoples money and not doing any of the tests.

I mean, who knows those Airguns could’ve developed a leak or something while it was in transit with United Package Smashers.

PA has always been very good to me, excellent customer service.

However, I think all the premium services should be included when the Airgun or cart total is above a certain price.

I agree. Shipping company's should also be held more responsible for damage as well.

Airguns are hard to shoot at long range. 75 yards and out so always have realistic expectations. It takes practice to become a good air rifle shooter. I have tuned lots of airguns and getting a tight Es is possible. To compete at a pro level your rifle should have a Es of 7 or under. My 100 yard Red Panda 30 has a SD of 0.67 and a ES of 2 so yea its possible. Picture below so you know its possible. It takes time to become good at anything and consistency is key.
A 10 shot chronograph example is probably the average that most of us do. My question is what about a collection of data from a typical 100 BR card. So 25 shots plus all the sighters. For me that would probably be in the range of a 40 shot collection and see what the numbers are then. I’ve tried getting away from a low number data collection myself. I hate seeing that one shot “mess up” my SD and ES numbers lol. But when I do a 20 shot string or even a 40-50 I think it tells a more accurate tale. Just my thoughts.

Hows a 231 7x is extremely windy conditions in a large comp? Thats what this rifle does. And regularly put up 230 plus cards from the bench best being a 238 in practice

The “reality” aspect of this hobby to the majority is… what “they” intend to do with their PCP… Yes, the more expensive PCPs are inarguably saweet… That said, sub 60 yards? A lot of inexpensive PCPs simply get it done, particularly if hunting, pesting or plinking are the endeavors. For competitions, targets or otherwise, higher criteria apply… So you may need to spend more.
