Great job! Looks cool at night.Welcome to "Wednesday" from the Adams Family. This is my wife Elaines entry: 32yds, Ghost .25 HP, JSB 25.39gr pellets, crosswind. Deep winter has started here in northern Florida, it was in the low 60's and we were freezing lol. Elaine had me 3d print a "Thing" from the Adams Family. We had a blast with this challenge. It was fun doing it together, as she doesn't usually shoot. Unfortunately my grandson couldn't make it back over to shoot his pumpkin. So I obliterated it. Next year we won't leave them to the last minute. I'm pretty sure the pumpkins were sitting on the floor of Walmart for a long time before we bought them, they went mushy as soon as we opened them up.View attachment 17168View attachment 17169View attachment 17170View attachment 17171View attachment 17172View attachment 17173View attachment 17174
Last day today or tomorrow? Asking for "a friend".so, I have know we have had some bum weather and it has held up some entries.
after a chat with the boss we agree on the topic so, I am going to leave this competition open for another week provided those who have entered already have no objections?
by doing this you guys have to get those entries in even if its in the rain : )
tomorrow at midnight : )Last day today or tomorrow? Asking for "a friend".
Looks great to me! Good first try PapaT.In the immortalized words of Gold Five, the mission was to "Stay on target, stay on target". After a week of interference, I was able to prepare my pumpkin "death star" for carving.View attachment 17264View attachment 17265
For this challenge, I brought out the newly renamed Pinty Timber and set up at 25 yards, prone, with its pellet of choice, JTS Dead Center 18.1gr.View attachment 17266
Unfortunately, this dusky shooting session was met with some equipment (and probably some by shooter as well) malfunctions, and we had to pull out unsuccessful like Gold Leader.
Despite the frustrations and mishaps, it was still great fun. This was my first time trying out shooting prone, because I wanted to assure I was as straight on as could be. So without further ado, I present you this ole Papa's "Almost Found the Target"View attachment 17270View attachment 17267View attachment 17268View attachment 17269
Thanks. Lots of firsts in that. After I submitted, my brother said "looks like a cobra!" I missed my opportunity.Looks great to me! Good first try PapaT.
Mines still one of my favorite shooters as well! Every now and then we get a winner in the budget category which is nice. With Redcorns moderator and barrel band she's the complete budget package right at $300 bucks!Despite some frustrations on my own end, I also enjoyed the experience. First time trying prone (although it didn't help). Learned a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed the sheer silence of the pellets doing their work. I actually thought maybe I'd missed with the first few shots it was so quiet.
Definitely think the "Timber" is the best of them. Although everyone is singing the "Thumper's" praise lately. Ready to see what the new releases they are teasing are.Mines still one of my favorite shooters as well! Every now and then we get a winner in the budget category which is nice.
