I agree mostly with what's been said minus ammo cost.... Bigger ammo will of course cost more money to shoot, something you should of course consider when buying. The problem mostly is the electronics. Most people going for a pcp will already be preparing themselves mentally for possible leaks down the road. I for example own 2 pcps and 2 springers, if one goes down I have the others. Now with an electronic pcp you have 3 (yes 3!) problems, air leaks, Electronics konking, and battery life. After the cost and hassle you could just buy a crazy accurate 22LR (same FPE) for say $1200 and a .22 cheaper pcp/Springer for say $500 to deal with problems, plinking, etc. Lastly my .22 Ghost (while being still very expensive) has not met anything yet it couldnt bring down with an MRD. Have taken 3 birds @75, 80, and 98 Yards with it, All pass throughs, all 1 shot kills. It should be absolutely fine with coons, ground hogs, etc to 50Y. In fact it's generally too much power and I default to using my S510 more around the property. I would love a .30cal barrel, but no thanks on a .30 cal electric!!
