Greetings, I'm new to air gunning. My little brother had a Benjamin Marauder Tactical .25 that he wasn't using and asked if I wanted it. I said heck yes! So, he shipped it to me. I got it about a month ago. Came with a tool kit, pellets and a scope. Since then I've jumped in the rabbit hole. I've bought a compressor, Chronograph, more pellets, made a back stop, got a gun case, and purchase a used Remington Tactical xp express .177 springer.

The Remington was used, but from the looks it had never been fired. Came with a scope that was loose. I got it sighted in pretty close. Had five shots with in 3/4" . I used the chorono on it and it was punching at 950 fps. My M-rod does 850.

I made a back stop from a tote filled with rubber mulch. Cut a square opening out of the top. Cardboard in behind it. I cover it with a plastic bag when I'm not using it. From my back deck to the backstop is 63' or just over 20 yards.

There is a shooting range about 30 miles from where I live in Indiana. Even though it's firearm range, I asked if I could use my air guns. They said yes. Asked if I could bring my compressor and they said that there was power available on the range. They have targets from 10 yards to 720 yards. Plus archery indoor and out door.

I'm looking to modifying the M-rod soon. Right now, I'm just getting used to the guns and trying to soak up everything I can about this new hobby.

Welcome to the HAM community! The hole is deep, but all the rabbits here are having a great time.

Welcome to the forum fellow Hoosier.

Thank you all for the replies and greetings to HAM! Regarding the M-rod, I asked my brother why he wanted to part with it, he said he got himself a new FX something instead. So instead of just selling it, he gave it to me. wtg little brother.

And this is the case I got for the m-rod. I also got a bipod for the front.

I almost forgot that I had one more air gun to show. I'm sorry I didn't include it in the beginning. It's an asalt gun, I spelled that correctly... :)

Yeah, I have one of those also. It's just ok
It's in the garage so every now and then I'll walk by the trash can and blast a few just for fun, or when I'm near the BBQ pit. It's weak, barely marks a piece of foil at 3 feet and noticeable at all at 6 ft.
But I found these for the Vigilante and they are about the same, maybe a little more Mark on the foil but still doesn't pass through. It's blast circle is to big.

It says right on these 3ft. I shot a wasp once, bad mistake, the entire magazine couldn't take him out.
I just us table salt in the rifle.
