New Crosman Vapor Multi-Pump To Be Launched At SHOT Show

It looks as if there will be a new multi-pump air rifle being launched at the 2025 SHOT Show tomorrow. Named the Crosman Vapor, it’s a 10-pump model that’s capable of over 1,100 FPS in .177 caliber.

I’m sure this will cause a lot of interest among HAM readers!

No more details yet, nor a photograph. Ditto with pricing. Also I do not know if the Vapor will be a replacement for the Crosman 362, or an addition to the range. However you can read the official Press Release here. That’s all I have…

As you can see, the Crosman, Benjamin, Daisy and Gamo brands are all now part of the “Iconic Outdoor Group”. I’m guessing that this will also include BSA.

Again, I have no more information about the Iconic Outdoor Group, but it sounds like another version of the “Velocity Outdoor” concept that he previous owners of Crosman implemented.

Making a complete guess of what the new organization’s web address could be, here’s what the url iconicoutdoorgroup.com looks like today. So someone owns it!

I’m sure we’ll discover more about the Crosman Vapor and the Iconic Outdoor Group in the very near future…

This will be interesting to follow. Not as exciting, but still interesting. I do love my multi-pump platform.

[Rwjeter]

I can’t wait to see it! I’d love to see something along the lines of the Dragonfly MkII from them. Multipumps are just so versatile and reliable.

Interesting indeed. Hmm Gamo owns them now. Gamo is coming out with an 1100 fps pump gun with the same name. Same gun different body?

The Gamo Vapor 10X .177 is the first variable power rifle to incorporate a 10-round rotary magazine; eliminating the need to load a pellet after each shot.

Interesting news, can not wait what more will unfold the coming days towards shot show

[Elexious Musick]

Please don't be a yet another Chinese airgun.

Bout betcha your right.

[JimT66]

I wouldn't swear though that the body style will be any different. Especially as much as the Gamo looks like the Earlier Daisy rifle.

Please don't be a yet another Chinese airgun.

Those chances are low.

I'm thinking I'd prefer a .22. That fast .177, maybe a .25 version, too?

[JimT66]

So. What yall thinking? Spanish airgun, BSA barrel, leftover crosman barrels, or all made in Chinese?

[Beanflip]

IMO these brands are "your first air gun" brands and also for a universal market not us who have dove in more deeply. Chinese production is going to keep prices down for those less invested but wanting to get their feet wet.

In my mind this is an encouraging anouncement!

I agree definitely a .22. I still can’t believe no one has put out a .25 cal pumper.

I'd happily buy a 25 cal pumper.

[JimT66]

.25 pumper would definitely be a nice change. Would think that would be a gimme to the manufacturers. .177 and .22 are everywhere. Here in the U.S., the .25 would be quickly bought up. Especially if it's a nice, decent rifle.

[PapaT]

Give me wood stock, steel barrel, 25 cal, and smooth pumping days ahead.

[Chris two-furs]

I concur with others- .22 cal at least, would be a buyers attraction!

[MMCM13]

I bought the hyped up 362, it is accurate to about 20 yards. When decent barrels show up in these, I’ll look. With BSA under the wing, maybe barrels will show up in these.

You musta got a bad one then. Cause mine will double that. Most everyone else's will too. Minute of tree rat skull at that kinda range.

I have heard it both ways. Some bad and some good. I hope it’s been corrected so they are all good now.
