Ghost Got me 30 ghost yesterday

if I was AOA, I’d test shoot every rifle that I took in on trade. It would serve two purposes: let me know what I was buying works and provide a target to post in the item listing for potential customers to see. Nothing special just a 3-10 shot group showing that the weapon functions with reasonable accuracy.

Rainy day today so im thinking i might take the 30 instead of the 177 to the hp ft match next weekend. So I’ve decent to shoot the 48 gr zan br50 and the gun with a short 0 db im now at 120 bar pw 8 for 860 fps 79 fpe. Think ill get a bit over 40 shots just have to verify my dope sometime next week oh and by the way on these settings im getting a sd of 1 !

Actually no i think ill change with the 177-28 that way i can leave the 30 ready for ft and start setting up the sub moa

Went out today to verify my dope with strelock. Shooting with a mod on now (110 - 0 db ) had to adjust my bc down from where it was so that pellet poi matched strelock as the mod bends the barrel a tiny bit but shot 6 mags 90 % would have scored from styx with 48 gr zan. Hopefully will do good this coming weekend !

Well initial setup. Took out 177 barrel put in new 1 and put in my pellet probe from the other gun. 10 m 4 different slugs are 1 holers. Velocity ranges from 947 to 920 44-50 grain and @135 bar pw 17!
Thats 91 fpe from 135 bar with the zan 45.5!
Had to put a 110-0db on as loud as a 22 lr in the shop without much quieter with

Lol i guess ill have to wait for further testing till tomorrow as i just blew the mod off the barrel. Put blue locktite on screws hopefully that will be the end of that. Going to turn reg down to 120 see what happens can always bump back up

I got the Sonoran out yesterday, and to say I'm happy so far is an understatement! I didn't have much time for shooting, as I had another obligation. But still it was excellent, shot some 50.1 grain and 45.06 grain

45.06 grains were running 888.6 FPS and an average of 79.1 FT-LB

50.1 grains were running at 853.5 FPS and an average of 81.0 ft-lbs.

35-yard and 75-yard accuracy was good, but I need to work on the 100-yard accuracy further. I didn't have time to shoot the other guns, and hopefully I'll have a chance next week.

Sonoran gets two thumbs up, and I'm looking forward to more shooting!

How does the adapter attach to the barrel?

3 tiny set screws into a groove around the end of the barrel. Its funny in the sound difference between about 870 to above the gun gets like twice as loud. I dropped reg to 120 still low 900 upped to 130 getting close to 940 shooting 45.5 zan showing smaller sd than nsa at 860 pw 7 79 fpe

This is too much stock 25 cal hammer spring 110 bar pw 7 883 fps. 79 fpe.

I painted the barrel semi gloss black cause it already had some fine rust. Hit the barrel with 000 steel wool we’ll see how it holds up. Pushed a slug thru and felt some rough spots did 15 strokes with jb polish on a mop and got the results above with 45.5 zan. I was at 120 bar but
couldn’t get it to go 880 it was 870 or 890 thats how i ended up at 110 bar and now 880

Excellent progress! I was thinking about the same thing, just hit it some decent paint and off to the races.....Or range!

This is amazing 110 bar pw max 50 gr jsb 875 fps 85 fpe! And to think it was pushing 9 fpe more at i forget 150-165 bar pressure with pellets! If i had some heavier slugs i think i could go over 100 fpe but im not going to try
