Well I was able to finally able to get to the range and do some testing with the Ghost with the 22 barrel.
Lets start things off with a list of what the gun is and what it has......
BRK Ghost 22 HP
Tensioned barrel kit
Carm Magazines
Tract Torric Scope
With the regulator set at 150 BAR I was shooting 18.1, 25.4 pellets along with slugs ranging from 23 grain to 34 grains all in .218 size. Speeds I was able to go from 700 ish fps with the heavy slugs all the way up to over 1200 fps with the 18.1 pellets!
Accuracy with the 18.1 pellets started off at 50 yards with a decent sized groups but nothing great, though the velocity on MIN was at 1070 fps! Switched to some 25.4 pellets and the speed was brought down a bit and the accuracy went up quite nicely. With a single ragged hole that I could push my thumb through.
Moved on to slugs and was able to get a group size down to just over an inch at 50 yards., with a velocity from 700fps to 980fps. I was able to see the pellets spiraling and moving around quite a bit. Way more movement than I was wanting or ready for. I was running low on time and had people behind me that wanted to use the range, so I had to pack up and leave.
Over all I Was able to find that the 25.4 pellets shot the best at 50 yards for right now. Though I did have some promising groups with the 218 30grain slugs.
Will adjust the regulator down a bit and start low and see what happens.
