I did buy it new. I’m going to send FX an email. AI states the new Dynamic and Panthera come with a carbon tube. I can’t find it stated anywhere and I’m pretty sure when I looked at the parts breakdown, it showed o-rings. Interesting?

I have to admit, I was very apprehensive about the looks of the Panthera. In my mind it looked skinny and too lean. It looked beyond minimalist. Up close it is a very nice looking airgun. I really like that it is balanced and relatively lightweight.

Look at it as an opportunity to get intimately familiar with it lol. Cheaper than shipping cost and a restocking fee anyway.

Yeah, they pay the shipping both ways for the first 45 days. They say they tested it before shipping. I’ll have to get some o-rings for it.

45 days isn’t bad, certainly enough time to make sure of no major issues. At least for those of us who are not casual Airgunners.

Nice looking rifle sir, how long is she from end to end? How loud is it without moderator would you say... Ie vs your .25 ghost for reference? Hopefully you get the leak sorted out! Nice that we have some unbiased guys on Ham reviewing the Panthera now.

I’d prefer to just fix it and move on. So far it’s the best trigger that I’ve seen on any of my PCP airguns, 9oz out of the box. Though the trigger is probably my biggest criticism of the FX Panthera so far. Not the actual trigger itself, as I stated, it’s very nice. But, the trigger documentation is beyond disappointing. One of the highly marketed selling points of the Panthera MKII, is the new Easy Set Trigger, with three settings for match, standard and hunting. There’s no mention of it in the booklet. In fact they state that due to liability, they cannot describe how to adjust the trigger. In fact they go on to say that adjusting your trigger “MAY” void the warranty. Why don’t they just stamp each rifle with “May be hazardous to your health, not just your wallet”.

Thanks. It is 46.5” or 118cm. It’s not super loud. It’s not as quiet as the Ghost without a moderator, but quieter than the Sonoran.

I completely agree with your fix it and move forward mentality. Any videos or threads on trigger adjustment for it?

I felt ill too lol. It was unusual in that UPS actually called me in response to a support chat. They told me it was list or stolen and that I needed to get the seller/shipper to initiate a loss investigation. The seller said, they’re just trying to get you off the phone. I’m guessing the truck had a mechanical failure and wasn’t unloaded and so there were no further tracking scans.

So have you found the leak? Id check around the gauges first
