Panthera FX Panthera MKII .30 700mm My First FX

Wow Bill! If you like this trigger, than you are going to be over the moon when you eventually get an AAA. At least in my examples, no comparison. The other thing, probably because I never had a bottle over 300cc before, is that the 580cc bottle gets quite warm filling. None of my regular guns get as warm and the pressure settles down with cooling.

I would not waste too many good pellets trying to get a 1 in 16" twist barrel to shoot them any better than you just did in those conditions. Play with slugs until you get your pellet liner installed.

You're observation, on the noise suppressed, mirrors mine; not that loud w/o but really quiet with. Considering the power, super quiet!

Having just gone through taking mine down, I would bet your air leak will be with the reg or the fill, because the rest of the gun can't leak through all the loctite. 😄

I switched back to slugs this afternoon. The Ghost trigger is not the best. The Sonoran is better, but difficult to find the right balance under 12ozs.
I’m very happy with how quiet it is.
I was hoping that the valve was leaking.
*EDIT: I read this in a thread, but cannot confirm it is a fact or or if it is even recommended and so I deleted it.

I was hoping that the valve was leaking, because I didn’t leave it cocked. I didn’t realize that it was supposed to be stored cocked. But, I don’t think that is the issue.
Wooh, back up, where did you read that this gun was supposed to be stored cocked? I have missed seeing or hearing of this, completely.

I read it in one of the threads. But, FX does not state that. I’ll delete it, there’s enough misinformation, without me adding to it.

Im surprised you guys don’t like the trigger. Mine on the drs comes to a nice wall and breaks at 8 oz. How did the slugs do?
I like the trigger. Didn’t go very good with the slugs. AEA 52.2gr slugs, used same tune as for 50.5gr pellets. 110bar. I had three flyers. I can’t explain the circular chain group lol. I’m sure it had something to do with my setup. I used my electric rest setup for free recoil. It allows the rifle to recoil backwards on bearings and rollers. IMG_3149.webp

OK, that's what I thought, I'm calling B.S. on whoever said that. Nobody designs an airgun that needs to stay cocked that I know of. And if I knew of one, I would never buy it. There is always someone, that's afraid of everything, that will be shouting that the sky is falling.
it’s not usually healthy to keep springs compressed for long periods of time.
