Panthera FX Panthera MKII .30 700mm My First FX

I managed to shoot a 5 shot x 5 group target at 100yds. A couple of flyers and it still managed a 5 group average of 0.98 Sub-MOA. I shot a couple of shots prior at the steel, so that I could adjust the sights. Over 27 shots the extreme spread was 3.9fps with an SD of 0.9. The average velocity was 956.3 fox and the average FPE was 102.5 fpe. This was with random unsorted AEA 50.5gr pellets. The rifle with the Bull Barrel is definitely consistent. The flyers were all me. There was practically no wind. I was using my electric front rest with the silver Protektor bag and my rear mechanical rest. The shooting characteristics have changed with the Bull Barrel and I need to figure it out. I would say that I’m impressed with the Bull Barrel, the FX Panthera MKII, AEA pellets and Newman Buck at Cape Fear Airguns. They did a great job. I’ve given Elaine strict orders to smack me around if she sees me with any tools near the Panthera.

I said it before that you would be Happy with Newman Buck @ Cape Fear , He is a master tuner when it comes to FX. he is a hidden treasure that puts his all in repairs & tuning. I am so glad you are Happy
