EVOL CBHITP

My experience with the evol 30 out of box.
The rifle seems rugged well built, very lightweight. Trigger is good, but has some side to side slop which leaves a bit to be desired, to me it adds unwanted movement to the trigger. The barrel tension system on this rifle is one of the best ive ever seen.
The mags are slow to load not very smooth with its moving parts. Only holding 9 and costing 110 dollars it also leaves something to be desired.

Men lie women lie the numbers dont lie.
As you can see by the numbers this rifle is all over the place. I tried this rifle over 3 different chronographs. Fx true ballistics, Fx pocket mk1 and a pro crono. All told the same tale. All from a 4k psi fill. Every one was a bit different but none were consistent.

The main reason i went after this rifle was to not have to mess with it. To pull it out shoot it put away and repeat. Its not looking like that is what is going to happen. Ive tried a few times to contact American air arms to no reply. This has left a bitter taste in my mouth so i dont believe i will stick with and or purchase any more of there products.

This is my honest assessment of my rifle out of box. Key word "my"

Talking to evol owners the normal reply is "you must have got a bad one" for almost 3k doll hairs this is unacceptable. I know owners that love there rifle and its very consistent and accurate for them. I have owned pretty much every brand of pcp made and own 12 others. Im not new to this and understand sometimes things dont always work out the way we planned. Sucks because i wanted this to be a forever gun due to its amazing build quality.
question for you, was this a brand new rifle and if so where did you buy from? With AAA you likely didn't get a "bad one", but parts and o rings can absolutely fail prematurely. Theres not many parts to an Evol, your numbers indicate a faulty valve or regulator. Contact AOA, they are the service dealers for AAA and will get you taken care of.

Sorry your out of box experience hasn't been great but I seriously hope you consider getting the gun serviced and give it a second chance. You really won't find a better gun for your application of pick it up and shoot once its working properly.

I humbly submit was sorry to read of your sad AAA experience, considering the stack of frog skins paid.
That said the first class folks at AAA and or their chosen dealers will make it right Norteastbeast.
Rest assured in your purchase of their product the most valuable item you paid for was their REPUTATION.

Is this a New rifle or did it come used from High Pressure Pneumatics? Big difference between a new gun and a demo unit that's been showcased at various events. Reason I ask is because it's a .30 and those haven't been available for awhile... maybe Tom from High Pressure Pneumatics gave you the demo unit.

Sounds to me like you’ve been taken care of (you said it quite a few times), but neglect to tell us how, where you “bought” it from, and elaborate on any of the “issues” you’ve found. I for one, know that AAA would never let a gun leave the factory without properly testing it first, I also know that if it was an FX (that you would spend close to that amount of money on also), could have similar issues, as could any other brand.
Tom and AAA are not FX. they are not a huge manufacturer, and not only do they make everything in house, but Tom is usually the one to contact you as s consumer when emailed or called. Have patience, and give it a chance. You’ve already spoke to many AAA owners from the sounds of it, and all have told you how incredibly happy they are with theirs.
If I was walking into this conversation without knowing who you are, I’d think you were trolling the brand and the forum.

I don't like how this thread reads. It reads purposely vague, which is quite annoying on a forum designed to get and give help and share knowledge. If done to get everyones attention, bravo, but it's still annoying. If done to rat out a dealer that you bought it from and wasn't getting the after sale service, clever enough. Still though, if you have experience with all the brands and are not new to being on forums, you certainly know that your constant non-answer of 'I'm being taken care of' doesn't take care of any of the people who had interest in reading the thread in the first place. We were all just basically your tools. That's how it reads to me.

1. An odd claim made in a forum where most folks KNOW that TOM always checks over his completed products and would never ship a questionable one period.

2. Also known is the normal habit of his select dealers giving anything they sell a once over before they ship it out.

3. When quizzed about dealer or seller, original condition of purchase and most importantly what exactly was the final bottom line outcome terms all seems very vague?

Summarizing my original inspector Clouseau post the ole adage quote does seem most appropriate.

I like that your trying your best to protect the brand Kudos. Yes the rifle was new it had sat on the self for a while as lets be honest they dont sell all that great. The rifle was bran new untouched. Ive been taking care of thanks.
Trying to protect the brand? I have no association to protect, matter fact I could care less.
Dealer took care of me. I tried to work with American Air Arms they never answer me. Im good t

Im sure your right. But i didnt spend that kind of money to work on a rifle out of box. The reason i chose the rifle was not having to play with it. Thanks
Please let us all know where you purchased it from, I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to know.

Still being very vague in your answers here. Some of us know who you are, and who you are affiliated with. We can draw conclusions from these knowns. That’s all I will say.

Also, as far as getting hold of AAA, you didn’t try very hard. They’re here on the forum, and have always responded to my inquires. May take a couple days sometimes (he’s a small company working on big things), but he ALWAYS gets back.

That being said, sell it to one of us, who will gladly take it off your hands, and shoot it the way it’s intended to be shot. Go play with your other 20 brands that are so much better.

Sure your right 👍 i reached out to AAA a handful of times on a few different platforms no answer. The gun was not consistent out of box? You shills and brand maxis are Hilarious. You will do anything for a little pat on the back. 🤣
Again im not new to airguns have lots of them. Some have problems some dont its the way it goes. But it’s when someone is honest about it you guys cry foul.
Some have problem, some don’t, but when YOU ave a problem, it’s a brand that’s too expensive to have problems. Good show old chap!

i was once of the mind set that if i could not get ahold of him i did not want to buy his guns. after i did get a call and found he is one guy man maybe two above a one man operation you can see why he says contact AoA

i would really like to say i think Tom gose out of his way for his custimers. at least he has for me.
