I will try my poor mans Arca extension and maybe try it tied into the bottle. I’m just nervous using a hp bottle as a support. Goes back to my scuba days and flying in Navy P3s where we treated our oxygen bottle like explosive devices. I haven’t tried a front rest other than a one piece Lead Sled and I’m not liking that. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve been using a prottektor bag on a small hd table top tripod and like that.

The wife uses an AR250 sebrest and loves it. That and a rear leather bag she can put some good hits on the target.

Wow, I just stumbled on to this post. I’ve always had a soft spot for Brocock rifles ever since I saw a Compatto, but never followed through because of the meh power and expensive magazines. This one has my attention. Semi bullpup? Nah, I consider it a full size rifle albeit compact. It’s also nice to find rifles developed for pellets since I detest slugs. I can’t wait to see how they shake out at RMAC.

Made it to Williams… Barbara and I will be helping Martin finish up the venue tomorrow….When we got here it was 94. Then a monsoon came in and we are at 72…..I do love a monsoon. Poured for about 20 minutes then slowed down.

The match is over!!!

So in each relay the top 3 shooters will move to the finals in the 100 yard bench after 2 cards.

Day 1 I got a 210 and just barely got 3rd place in my relay. I forgot to take a picture of it

Day 2 I got a 225 which got me into the finals.



Finals today the wind was so screwy….You heard a few choice words up and down the line….I might have dropped 2 of those and when you see my target you will know when it happened

Ok was able to post final scores…I came in 5th!!!

A few bad/dumb wind calls cost me the podium….But I am getting more and more comfortable with the Sonoran….Everybody above me were using some sort of front rest. I was the only person on the line shooting off of a bi-pod. Maybe there is something about a good frontbrest

Well time to go have fun at Silhouette.
