To be more accurate, I tuned that rifle he is shooting I think it's more around 950 fps @HubenK1Sniper92 ? Which is just under 70fpe

Ya it hits hard, it destroys chipmunks and squirrels with headshots, pops english sparrows like balloons and sent 2 ground hogs and 3 possums for early dirt naps.. love my huben and it’s my goto rifle

I have heard a lot of good things about the JTS pellets and there will be more sizes and weights coming

Can’t be any harder than crosman pellets, and those shoot pretty well for their price.

Every barrel will be different so it's hard to say that there is a best pellet. I'm using jsb 10.3's on my Pro Target and for me, they're the best for my barrel

Most of my rifle .177 setups; looooove the 10(.34gr)area for weight.
I want to find that same smooth area for .22
Suggestions?

Let's see what I have on hand already hoping I'm close. I know for sure that I have some AROUND that weight....but how close

Both of which are coming in at 18.21gr (1.8g ).

Those crown magnums are tough to get anything to shoot well. Lol

I’ve used the jsb, h&n varieties. When jts become available, I’ll try those too.

I've gotten my crosman 2289 to sling the crows fairly well; but only to about 30 yards, after that they like to fish tail a bit more than I'd like to repeatedly compensate for.
I compared the Rifle slugs to the FX a while back. The FX did only slightly better, however they did do better. So for hunting I would chose the FX slug over the Rifle. But I can utilize the Rifle slugs to setup my scopes/slingers before using the way more expensive FX slug.
I do like the JSB stuff too. Not too picky because if a projectile isn't super accurate; I can always use them for breaking in springs and such as "dummy" ammo (the crosman pirahna is also a good example along side the crows) ; get some lead in a new barrel with them, get valves and internals settled in. Pretty much used for when no accurate projectile is needed. Just need lead in the chamber for functionality sake/testing.

Loving these fairly new JTS Dead Center 18gr .22 pellets. Been a bit of a hype about them but must say they live up to it. Neck on neck with the JSB heavies, not barrel fussy, cheaper and lot less (if any) deformed skirts. Worth a try.

Me too! Very accurate and consistent out of all of my .22 rifles.
