Self-Loading .357 Rattler

@c.wallace_06 those are very good numbers, impressive as hell and I am sure the retained energy of those 125g slugs will pack a punch on the unsuspecting victim.
This coyote here was DRT never twitched 70+ yrds. Slug never exited. Coyote is young and small but he was struck by lightning from that slug. IMG_7835.webp71212088856__E7EF264E-D66F-40D5-8B10-6A6EDD8D99C5.webp71212091809__A9318CE6-AFC2-4DE0-A296-16AE271B6891.webp
This slug pic was from a 125g shot into bal gel. Distance was only 7 yards but I start all my testing up close and work my way out.

How is the trigger on the sidewinder? I know it’s tough to find a semi auto that has a good trigger.
Also, how is first shot accuracy? Is this a grab and go gun? Or fire a couple shots and let it settle first?
In my experience they hold their shot placement, and I have shot about 4 models of the Rattler and 6 of the Sidewinders. As for the trigger, it is a 3lb hunting trigger. But the trigger is predictable and that matters more to me than the weight. Last thing, I don't think you would want an once trigger on a semi or full auto IMO. If you want an ultra light trigger, go with an Alpha Wolf.
