Just saw this offering for the first time on Edgun West's site. Don't know anything about it, but thought it may interest some members. Looks like they've affixed the Behemoth moderator to this little Sidewinder. Dunno what else they did.

@hameditor I don't know a lot about these rifles. But the folks at Edgun West appear to be making a distinction between the regular Sidewinder Compact and the Sidewinder Compact PRO. It appears that they made an in-house alteration to the Compact PRO. Do you know how the Compact S differs from the Compact PRO aside from the moderator?

I just cannot get over how high the scope has to be mounted above the bore , makes me quite sad.

It may just be an apprearace of the scope being so high becauseofthe gun's build. I have a different Rattler, the 45, and with fairly low 1" rings, the over the bore height is approximately 2.75"

I also upgraded my Western Sidewinder. I modified it with a longer silencer and a carbon fiber cylinder. 48. The silencer uses a 25-by-40 back pressure structure.

That moderator looks insanely huge on the rifle. Should be whisper quiet!

I can't get over it neither, i thought after a little bit of time i would get over it. But if you remove the high rise platform the scope sits on its a Weaver type thingyymobob that i couldn't find a anything to clamp to it. But i got a tap and drill set and a rail i might try bolting on. One way or another I'll figure a way to get it ground level.
