It stopped raining, in the meantime I filled the Sonoran. I dragged the target stand back to what I estimated was 100yds, turned out to be 104yds. I loaded a mag with AEA 45gr pellets. I guessed at what the holdover would be and fired my first five shot group at 104yds with the .30 Sonoran. Winds were variable at 3-5mph. I think I just scored my best airgun group at 100 plus yards. Sub-MOA from the Sub-MOA barrel, what a concept lol. A .975” five shot group. With practice I hope to tighten it up. I have some JSB Knockouts coming tomorrow to try. I’m bummed that the AEA 45s are out of stock everywhere. It is a big hold over at 104yds. To me it’s impressive, I haven’t been able to shoot 100yd sub-MOA with my Ghost .25. I’ve sighted it in at 50yds, I might change that to 100yds.
