2 squirrels today

Got 2 squirrels this morning. One at 15 yards and the other at 8 yards, both good, clean headshots with Diana34, 22gr JSBs.
Wouldn’t normally shoot squirrels but they get to bird feeders and cause dogs to go wild, tearing up screens on porch. Therefore, reclassified as harmful rodents.

That is some close distances! That would be a hard no for my Ghost with scope 2.5 inches off barrel Massive hold over as I'm learning. My 2 AA guns can easily shoot 15 yards with same hold as zero. U use a springer?

I've had to replace 3 bird feeders that were destroyed by squirrels and my wife STILL won't let me shoot them!!!

not a 100% sure but i think on myEVOL .22 my 10 yard hold over is close to my 100 yard hold over: )

Pull out the air gun, sneak over to the door, load it, turn your head and yell (quietly) THAT ONE HAS RABIES!! And then quickly pop em off the feeder

I make my own bird feeders and hang them so the squirrels can just get to them easy ..

I think the store bought feeders are built with attractent to lure the squirrel and invite chewing them up ..

That way you keep buying more feeders and send there kids to a better collage ..lol..

Have a Diana34 springer, zeroed at 30 yards due to setup of yard and usual firing range.

30 is a good spot . seems most nice trees (oaks, gum, pine, ) maybe top out at that +/-. It's where I put my squirrlin rifle at ..

You must have short pines; ours go better than 60 feet.
