TL;DR: I think it is a fantastic, accurate, and budget friendly solution that allows for data collection in any setting. Biggest negative is potential number of adapters depending on your collection.
Full version:
I have been using natechrony with great results. I have 2 "universal" adapters, besides the 1/2x20UNF ones that come with the unit. The only missed shots I have had are due to computer usb issues. I also had one abnormally high reading from it, but that was a humid day and my Texan with test unit. With the adapters I have, I can fit it to every gun I have, except for my pistols and Crosman Diamondback break barrel. (I haven't tried it on my M1A underlever yet). At some point I may revisit trying the adapter for the Texan with those guns to see if I can "make it work". Adapters are the downside, due to muzzle mounted, but Nate already has several popular models adapted for scenarios that won't work with the universal or threaded, and is incredibly great to work with if you need something different.
I keep forgetting my password I set for logging into the chrony network, so when I am out of signal range for my own home network I just preset weight and description and look at numbers afterwards.

But, making changes in the app, and getting live feedback is great when you don't do dumb things like me. I use a battery pack that either sits on my table if I'm shooting benched, or in my pocket if off-hand.
I have a couple of videos uploaded to YT, if you want to see actual use.
