Either way you just created an expensive paperworkIs that as bad as loosing the proprietary fill probe ..lol
Luckily Huma has probes for everything I have, and they don’t sell them as if they are made of gold. I’ve learned to always have two for every PCP.Is that as bad as loosing the proprietary fill probe ..lol

From the help I lost or I need a probe for a .... Threads .Luckily Huma has probes for everything I have, and they don’t sell them as if they are made of gold. I’ve learned to always have two for every PCP.
Oh no did the leak monster get you?New least favorite thing, leaking!!! S510 40 bar over four days.
I have learned that it is far easier, and so very much faster, to just completely disassemble and replace all of the o-rings at once, than trying to find a leak that isn't obvious. It really is. With a beautifully made airgun like the AA it is even enjoyable and Zen-like. Think of it as a bonding oppurtunity.New least favorite thing, leaking!!! S510 40 bar over four days.
Check the gauges before anythingI have learned that it is far easier, and so very much faster, to just completely disassemble and replace all of the o-rings at once, than trying to find a leak that isn't obvious. Yeah and if I could crosshair that sob I’d give it a well deserved dirt nap!!Oh no did the leak monster get you?
Thanks for always being the voice of reasonI have learned that it is far easier, and so very much faster, to just completely disassemble and replace all of the o-rings at once, than trying to find a leak that isn't obvious. Yeah brother I do whacky things like spend more than anyone should on Airguns but i know one thing , from one tech to another KIS keep it simple. Thanks for always being the voice of reason![]()
@HatefulMcNasty Haven’t done that one, but I have received the wrong fill probe with a rifle. That was frustrating so I can only imagine the frustration with losing the proprietary probe. Is that as bad as loosing the proprietary fill probe ..lol
100% agree, if my pcps leak they will be getting the full rebuild kit (unless it's the gauge like Mike saidI have learned that it is far easier, and so very much faster, to just completely disassemble and replace all of the o-rings at once, than trying to find a leak that isn't obvious. Well that's terrible....if you have a party balloon (in no way, shape, or form is this a reason to celebrate mind you) slap it over the barrel and see if it fills up, then soap up the gauge and see what you got. I for one am on the edge of my seatNew least favorite thing, leaking!!! S510 40 bar over four days.
Take a look at the Cometas at Keystone Airguns. Definitely nicer than anything made in China or Turkey. Pellets and Pistons as well as Walnut and Steel channels have had reviews on them. I will be adding more to the collection, that's for sure.I have given serious consideration to a Notos. But I will keep saving for a high end .177 springer.
AoA had a .177 and .22 used FT Mrod with real tree camo stock, 20 yes, twenty magazines and a rolling case. For $550? Ea. Yeah I almost fell off the wagon.
It was that tight! No needle nose pliers fitting in there once the fill connector is in place, I definitely tried that. It was a bit of a horrifying moment for sure. The bugger clicks in so easily to@Danman Dental picks? IIRC I used needle nose pliers. It’s been a while since I’ve made that mistake, but I think needle nose pliers helped to remove a standard quick connect fitting from that recessed area.
