What is your least favorite thing about airguns?


-Mine is breech O-ring seals in PCPs.

I became good with my Royale 400 because it was a fairly often thing. After selling it and not doing it very often, it’s a chore now. My age related vision decline doesn’t help either.

Picking up pellets....a combination of aging eyes and arthritic fingers is making it a real chore to pick up the little buggers. 177's are almost impossible and .22's are tough, .25's are only slightly easier. Gettin' old is tough!!

The price of everything is crazy so I am always having to wait for something or just go without because I cannot afford it.

I second the not enough time to shoot sentiment once weather warms up. Also a big one is after range day when I have to hand pump both of my Pcps back up. When plinking, testing, or pesting I top up after shooting a few rounds. Range day is the full 55 shots per gun usually then fill em up at home.

Definitely the politics and commercialism, it's gotten much worse over the past 5 years. As long as I stay in my own little bubble I absolutely love everything about Airguns, just wish I had a place closer to shoot the large calibers.

Leaks!!!! That’s it. I try to shoot at least once a week. We’re moving out shop to a 25 yard range, I mean a bigger shop vs 13 yards now so I can send it before anyone arrives.

I don't understand ? I'm told over and over the last 3 years you and me never had it so good .... Ever. Buy den omics working had for you . ( Working hard on my billfold ..lol,).

I guess that’s why I like my CZ200’s and Crosman 22XX because the o ring is on the probe

I moved the o-ring to the probe on my P-15 when I did a barrel swap, that's how much I hate barrel breech o-rings.

I watched a video on a breech o-ring change on the S510....it looked horrible. Sub12's take on it in his S510 reseal video was to pull barrel....that's no fun either! That's a win for Brk...just have to pull my barrel with one set screw and easy access. I pulled the barrel out just for fun when I got my Ghost

Seriously, when I sent the SAM back and was waiting on the S510 my Origin broke, that was the worst. I don’t remember who said it but two is one and one is none.

I want to add a springer but that will have to wait.

A Notos or a Prod can be an easy fix to that issue. Cheap to shoot and seem to be pretty much tried and true.

I have given serious consideration to a Notos. But I will keep saving for a high end .177 springer.

AoA had a .177 and .22 used FT Mrod with real tree camo stock, 20 yes, twenty magazines and a rolling case. For $550? Ea. Yeah I almost fell off the wagon.

Oh, anyone ever lost a magazine? That’s a PITA. I lost and EDgun mag on a night hunt once. Luckily I had like 7 others.
