Your least favorite thing about AG’s?

Either way you just created an expensive paperwork
Luckily Huma has probes for everything I have, and they don’t sell them as if they are made of gold. I’ve learned to always have two for every PCP.
From the help I lost or I need a probe for a .... Threads .
I find it funny that most don't offer a replacement probe at a shop like PA or the manufacturer..

Maybe they feel it easier to buy another gun then offer a probe in / as a part.. lol..

New least favorite thing, leaking!!! S510 40 bar over four days.
I have learned that it is far easier, and so very much faster, to just completely disassemble and replace all of the o-rings at once, than trying to find a leak that isn't obvious. It really is. With a beautifully made airgun like the AA it is even enjoyable and Zen-like. Think of it as a bonding oppurtunity.

Check the gauges before anything

Thanks for always being the voice of reason 👍

100% agree, if my pcps leak they will be getting the full rebuild kit (unless it's the gauge like Mike said😅) It will be scary the first time for sure but after you've tore it apart once it will be a piece of cake. Often times with air leaks, once you go in and depressurize and disturb things more leaks will form. I currently own one fill probe per gun and found out the normal sized quick disconnect fits inside my ghosts fill port so in a pinch I could use it, however.... DONT DO THIS!! Getting it back out was horrible, had to slide 2 dental pics in and slide the chuck backwards carefully. Will buy another long one with my next order just to be safe!!

Well that's terrible....if you have a party balloon (in no way, shape, or form is this a reason to celebrate mind you) slap it over the barrel and see if it fills up, then soap up the gauge and see what you got. I for one am on the edge of my seat😳

I have given serious consideration to a Notos. But I will keep saving for a high end .177 springer.

AoA had a .177 and .22 used FT Mrod with real tree camo stock, 20 yes, twenty magazines and a rolling case. For $550? Ea. Yeah I almost fell off the wagon.
Take a look at the Cometas at Keystone Airguns. Definitely nicer than anything made in China or Turkey. Pellets and Pistons as well as Walnut and Steel channels have had reviews on them. I will be adding more to the collection, that's for sure.

@Danman Dental picks? IIRC I used needle nose pliers. It’s been a while since I’ve made that mistake, but I think needle nose pliers helped to remove a standard quick connect fitting from that recessed area.
It was that tight! No needle nose pliers fitting in there once the fill connector is in place, I definitely tried that. It was a bit of a horrifying moment for sure. The bugger clicks in so easily to 😅

Seems like there are a lot of people with leaky guns. Interesting that seems to be the top reply here. I have maybe one leak a year across many airguns and fill probes don't bother me.

I'm actually having a hard time coming up with a response for this thread. I guess my least favorite thing, currently, is how tactical all the airguns are looking. I'd like to see mid to high end offerings in more traditional styling.
