Wow I’ve found peace and serenity in my head finally

Since deciding not to buy or sell any more air guns I’ve been in a very peaceful state able to just enjoy what I have. It’s really nice because I’m thinking of taking out my archery equipment and shooting some arrows, I’m thinking of practicing with my PBs, I have professional slingshots that need to be shot and practiced with to mix it up a bit since I’m in a zen like state with my Airguns. Yeah yesterday, I got home from work at noon and had lunch, did some chores....2 hours left of daylight and not to cold so I rushed to get a gun out and shoot some..... My brain disappeared for about 8 seconds and that's all it took. I'm over it, as long as there's no long term damage that affects accuracy/performance!

Meh .... I am about the same way Mike. I was looking at one of the RAW Micro hunters and I passed. I can't think of a reason to get another gun. I have about what I need and shoot now. So might as well enjoy what I have rather than messing with new guns constantly.

I don't know ... I see lots of 2000$ guns that can't do what my Walmart gamo can.

Like shoot standalone and no optics required ..lol.

Where are you “seeing” these 2K PCPs that don’t shoot as well as your Walmart Gamo? In your dreams, the interweb, personal experience? Do tell us. Please do elaborate, in detail where “you” are “seeing” such feats of wonder…

Only annoying if you keep chasing the latest greatest and ignoring the gems in hand or in the safe. Yes all airguns use air… They don’t all “do” the same thing. You, who have gone through so many PCPs, should understand there are myriad nuances between platforms, brands, actions, etc… Its a hobby and like tools in a toolbox its great to have a stable that fulfills actual as opposed to perceived needs or wants… My stable of four are setup for specific tasks. Yes there is overlap, but typically I select a PCP for the task at hand…

Atomic XR w the sweet red dot sight and forward grip that @PasadenaMike sold me…

Plinking from 25 to 102 yards? Pesting out to 60+ yards? My Pathfinder with a 3-12x44 SF IR FFP atop.


Ratting at night or going after roosting pests birds? My Atomic XR with an Arken Zulus 5-20x …

And finally my Ghost for plinking out to 102 yards and small critters out to 80+ yards

Why in the heck would I want to do that? How about a “rock throwing” or “spear chucking” contest? To make it more rudimentary? Please splain to me how you get HPA into a PCP without a pump or compressor? Since you are such an “expert” in non PCP airguns? Why not simply stay in your lane? As you have zero to offer in terms of actual field use with PCPs. What are “your” experiences with them 2K PCPs? Many times when someone can’t defend, through experience their generalizations. They offer silly challenges like above…

I am NOT a singer guy spent money on em don't like em I choose to want to bust marbles at 50 yards and anything less the a five gal bucket reliably just rules the springer at LOL
I am putting a scope an any gun I have as my eyesight isn't what it once was I tried shooting with glass on I gave up and just got a scope and I like it.
I don't see the argument agent the PCP
a pump gun is just a pcp with the pump built in?
take the pump off and put it on the floor its still the same.
if your lazy like me buy a compressor but its still he same.
its I would guess about what convince we want and what we are willing to pay to have it?

Its that @Hateful McNasty, constant bashing of PCPs simply gets old… we understand from his overstating it, that he doesn’t like and disparages PCPs. So why not simply stay in his lane? All the above with the full understanding that for myself and many others its only a hobby…
