If you want to post a target do not go to comps and click start comp. Go to performance and click that go down to comp modes click that and go to the comp at the bottom and click that and add your targets after your name

For the best results you need to place your target on a well lit black background. There needs to be an inch or more black border around your target. Make sure it is flat. There can’t be any shadows on the target. It all makes sense when you consider that it’s using contrast and looking for black. Shadows are black. The target needs to be flat as possible and you need to try and hold your phone as level as possible, you want your camera parallel with the target.
Solo1 just beat me to it, I was going to post that next. The “Compete” button is for when you’re using their camera system. I actually have a video studio and could setup shadowless high intensity lighting, but I’m trying to do it the same way everyone else will do it. Here’s my high tech set up for scoring. A black cabinet top with a table lamp. Yes, I get yelled at when I rearrange it.IMG_7635.webp

Score your target and save it. Then use the following steps to enter a competition.
Here is how to post your targets:
1. Start the App.
2. Click on Performance Data
3. Click on Competition Modes
4, scroll down and find the competition that you are entering
5. Login to your ELEY account, if you don’t have one click “Need an account?”
6. Then you will see your competition dashboard
7. Scroll down and select your target and hit submit entry
8. Scroll back up to your name and you will see your entries and score
It’s relatively easy, but for some reason ELEY makes it difficult.
The images below are in sequence of what you will see.

I got the graphic file from ELEY for the targets. They are printed on A3 paper which is common in Europe, but not the U.S.. The paper that I was able to try was uncoated card stock and the print quality is fuzzy and the app has great difficulty with them. But, if you can print on quality A3 paper you will be fine. You also have to make sure you print it yourself the exact size due to the calibration.

I usually print in A3 format on a professional color laser printer at work, so printing the Eley targets would not be a problem at all 🙃 :)
