As I stated in another thread, my own airgun shooting interest is just with airgun hunting. Besides, I don't use a 'smart phone' so I can't use the app anyway.

Everyone please bear with me on this. We haven’t even gotten this started yet and we’re already pulling in different directions and saying it won’t work etc.. My original idea was to use something that is free that would allow us to start and grow a benchrest competition that we can all participate in. We can print a target, shoot it and post it on the forum, we already do that, it’s called a challenge. They’re fun, but in all honesty they don’t get very much participation and they don’t give us the structure of a continuous competition. My goal was to help get this started, with everyone’s help, establish it, make it fun and hopefully grow it and let the HAM community take it in any direction it wants to. I assure you that WE can make this doable and fun. I also hope to promote both airguns and the HAM community with it.
I went out and shot a quick target this morning. I scored it manually and then I scored it with the ELEY App.. I took screenshots along the way so that I can share it with everyone. I also posted it as my second entry and took screenshots along the way. I will post all of this in the next 24 hours. The cost of entry is a package of targets, even if you drop out, you can always use targets. It’s the price of a tin of slugs.
Maybe at some point we can have our own forum category where we can have a competition threads, photo, thread, rules thread etc..
I’m blown away by how many people have already jumped in and ordered targets andare willing to try it.
I know it seems like I have a lot of spare time, but I actually have a lot of medical stuff going on too. But, I’m working on this, For me this is a proof of concept project.

I got the graphic file from ELEY for the targets. They are printed on A3 paper which is common in Europe, but not the U.S.. The paper that I was able to try was uncoated card stock and the print quality is fuzzy and the app has great difficulty with them. But, if you can print on quality A3 paper you will be fine. You also have to make sure you print it yourself the exact size due to the calibration.
