When they offer easy terms credit on a tin of pellets at these places tells me it's got too rich for my blood or the hobby got out of control in expences

I haven’t been able to decide between the carbine that’s easier to maneuver or the full size with the extra 100 ft/lb under the hood! The other benefit is our state allows them to be used in primitive weapon season granting one extra week of hunting and one week advance on the powder burners. And that’s state wide.

I have to go re look but I think it is pcp only not " spring" like if you wanted to use a hatsan

lol 30 cal or bigger for turkey ...Could you imagine a .30 springer on deer, I wouldn't even use that on a coon!

I shot a Zan 177 10gr slug into 20% gel after zeroing the rifle. 18 yards. Should be around 950 FPS, I'll check tomorrow.

Funny just the other day at another forum I brought up some states have a shot size on turkey as your does..

You guys must have some mean tough birds to need #2 shot or a .30 cal rifle to take one down ..lol. Are there feathers made of kavlar ?

You only really need those restrictions because somebody WILL try to hunt turkey or deer with their 880 or big box springer....

#2 or smaller. Lol. I personally have a .410 I’m planning on trying with #9 TSS. Though now that I see airguns are legal, I might put that on the back burner. I was looking at the Texan LSS Carbon Fiber and the Bushbuck Carbine more this morning.

Ol'410 seemed back when around here that Remington high brass #6 was popular easy and cheap to get .. matter of fact I don't recall using anything else with it ..lol

They are coming out the barrel in the 970’s.

the scope is zeroed at 18 yards for my bird feeder defense. I was shooting at my KYL spinner at 30 yards last night. It’s a 2 mil hold under at that distance. I hit the 1” and 3/4” targets a few times. I shot and hit the 1/4” target once, that was good enough so I packed it up for the evening haha

...actually, I am pretty happy to leave mine as set up by AoA... (grin)

...it is at a very low setting that works with 18.13 JSB's and still generates more energy with 28.55 JM's...

...I shot them over a Garmin XERO C1 Pro yesterday...I am really glad I spent the $$$ on it...

...even without anyplace to set up a proper range I was able to get readings shooting covertly out a 2ed story window...

...if you don't have one, you should...the ease of use will change everything...you could even use it at night...

I ran a full string with my 10 gr slug tune as it stands. Its shooting 10gr Zan and Knockouts at 970 fps.
I used 13 gr JSB Redesigns because nothing I have likes them.

After I cleaned my barrel. It’s shot about 250 slugs and 100 13 gr pellets since the last cleaning.

I took a few test shots after cleaning. Left before, right after. Right is 5 shots, single to the right was the first shot after cleaning. Then it piled the next 4. Only at 10 meters.
