One I got when inspecting it "NEW" out of it box and you notice a aftermarket part or not genuine manufacturer.. or one that just looks like it been used in someway like this I'd dirty when should be pretty clean or scratched in a action spot but it's new so why is it scratch up here ? ..lol I could P oint A finger at a place with a few instances of this ..lol

Well you know they really don't care cause on some brands they hold that funny importer / distributor monopoly or hold there brands close to there chest kinda thing .

I also think in tough times like now things are tight they do anything they think to get away with .. and markups so high they can do a rma 3 times and hope your finely happy in one of them ..
My consumer confidence is in the gutter ..

They come pretty dirty. My M853 didn’t shoot them very well. I want to try and clean my barrel and apply some Pledge and see if they perform better.

I will admit, it has me contemplating a bullpup. I think the weight wouldn’t be such an issue if it wasn’t so front heavy. That and a sling to help support the weight. I also saw somewhere where someone swapped the Gunnar bottle for a carbon. But I don’t know how much weight that would save.

My elbows won’t allow heavy guns. Im not familiar with your gun but cf saves weight

That’s a great looking little gun! I can’t decide if I want another .25 in a smaller more nimble package next, or a big bore like the Western Bushbuck. The .25 would get way more use, but the next county over doesn’t allow firearm hunting for deer, but will allow airgun. And I still want to go on a hog hunt with one.

Yip same in Ontario here, no airgun hunting allowed . I'd go for a semi-compact .25 or .30! Too much power is lost going full compact imo for those calibers.
Edit:....that bushbuck looks amazing

I haven’t been able to decide between the carbine that’s easier to maneuver or the full size with the extra 100 ft/lb under the hood! The other benefit is our state allows them to be used in primitive weapon season granting one extra week of hunting and one week advance on the powder burners. And that’s state wide.
