What'cha doing air gun related today?

I gotta ask bc it's killing me😆....what's with slugs @ 10 meters Florida_man!? I take pellets out to 100Y (minimal wind) and do ok! I know u pest short distances so wouldn't pellets be ideal? Genuinely curious!
They work! I had two squirrels show up yesterday that I used the KO’s on at 18 yards. The POP is loud as the energy dumps on impact. I was off a little on one shot bust the slug absolutely devastated it. The impact sound of the 20fpe 177 slug sounded like my 25 cal when I hit a squirrel tip to butt. That was a 60ish fpe rifle.

I shot a bird with my 30fpe AA at close range (25yards probably) with a 21 or 23gr Patriot Gen2 slug last year (dove I think it was). The pop was INSANE. I was sure the neighbors heard😆 So unnecessary but so humane. But I've also had 18gr jsbs unleash quite a pop too on birds.
Took 2 starlings today, (story in hunting section) wanted to shoot some paper with the TX and chrono it again but alas my shop was packed with work. Blessing/curse.

Please let us know how you feel about this new gun. I - at least - do not know much about Cometas...
Will do! Pellets and Pistons channel described them as "a poor man's Weirauch", so I thought I'd give one a try. Went ahead and ordered a tune, since the Weirauch fans seem to spend as much time talking about tunes as anything else.

For a under 300$ gun looks pretty darn good ..

Then again my peeve is the walnut one has a different cut stock I don't like as much as the cut above and no sights ..
WHY..?? Lol. The no sights for some silly reason is a deal killer ..

It's like these companies do it on purpose ..lol

But that one above I can't see it being too disappointing . It could I guess but that's with any ..🥴

I mounted up my Sightron 36x back on my Revere. I was able to shoot a card this evening and posted it in the “what paper target did you shoot today”

I also working on plans for a stable bench that I desperately need

I’ve been super busy to do much shooting these last several weeks. But today I took some time to get the Shwaty B out. I really like this little carbine a lot.
I had a single aluminum can that was just begging to be shot before getting tossed in the recycling bin. So I filled it with water and set it up outside where I could see it from the side door of my garage. We’re not allowed to shoot in the backyard in the city limits and technically if you are shooting indoors a projectile can’t leave the confines of the dwelling. But shooting aluminum cans full of water indoors just isn’t going to work. Anyways I only had the one can and it was only going to be the one shot so with a landscape paver as a backstop I set the can up so I could see it through the open door. For maximum effect I chose a Polymag short to dispatch the rogue can. After a quick double check to make sure no neighbors were out in their backyards I took a single off hand shot from the doorway. It was a perfect center punch shot from just 15 yards. I don’t care how old I get, watching an aluminum can full of water burst open through the scope will never get old. 🙂
Some
One of these days I’ll be able to move out away from the city and own a property where I’ll be able to shoot outdoors all I want. One of these days…
