What multi pump rifle ?

So I’ve been wanting to get a multi pump, more precisely I’ve been wanting a Seneca Dragonfly but I’ve also looked at the 362 which I can upgrade the breech to a steel breech. I’ve had the new 392s and 397s with synthetic stock and they are garbage. So between the Seneca and 362(with upgraded steel breech) which would you recommend ? I do own a 1322 currently and it’s my always ready mouse execution gun.

lol I’ve had 3 of the 39x s and they felt really cheaply made. I don’t know why they went away with wood on the 39x

i agree the wood is the better but machanicly the guns IMHO are fine
you can find a older one if you look around there are bargens to be had,
the .17 are easeir to come by.

i like the 342 or older because they are a little shorter

I have 2 362's and one has a 177 barrel that I haven't fired through yet but it fit just like the 22 barrel that was on the gun. My 22 is quiet and consistent with only 2 pumps in it. I have changed the breech on both because I need a scope to hit anything consistently. If you need any parts crosman will ship it fast. My first 362 wouldn't hold 1 pump in the exhaust valve. Crosman sent me a new valve in the mail free. I like the look of the Seneca and they make it in 177 and 22 so you can save time if you want to mount a scope and wood stocks are nice too.

The best multi pumps, are the ones you pump a bunch at once and they hold that compressed air for x amount of shots

Love my 362s! The reviews of the Dragonfly have been positive, though. Actually thinking about a 3rd 362, though.

I have been watching reviews of the Dragonfly to see how they hold up. Some seem spotty (linkage issues on early models). Hopefully they are all good now.

If I had money I'd find a used FX independence or see if Tim over at Mac1 has a steroid pumper for sale. The dragonfly is ok but nowhere near the charm or build quality as the old Benjamin's.

8 pumps is all I need to accurately shoot at a Shoot-n-See target at 25 yards. MOA
The wood was a bit dry but a little bit of Murphy' Oil Soap fixed that.
I apply a touch of Armasil Silicone Oil to the linkages every so often.
I'd recommend the Seneca.

I'd also heard of the linkage issues and on one of the forums (forgot which) it was suggested to use silicone oil.
On my DragonFly it works. A little dab'll do ya.

Just wondering as silicone isn’t the best metal to metal lubricant (not an ep). Oil or grease is better for high friction/load on metal to metal. But if it works, then good enough.
