Omega What is your favorite Omega Compressor and why?

I have both a Trail Charger and a Super Charger. The Super Charger is going on 4 years the Trail Charger I am not sure as I bought it used. Both have worked great but I pretty much just fill my guns and occasionally my 74 cu ft bottle.

I have an Omega Air Charger. I've only had it about a year as it took me awhile to decide on the purchase. Not really that long after buying a PCP(Daystate Huntsman Revere).

Can't comment too much except the price was right. I've also seen several good comments on the Air Charger. I'm a fair weather shooter and it is just now getting warm enough for me to start shooting again. I've been checking all the resources here for tips to making sure that it lasts. At my age, it will probably be passed on to one of my sons or grandsons. Hopefully, I will get a few years out of it and be able to keep it in tip top shape.

I too have Omega Aircharger. I’ve had it for 3 yrs and it’s got 40 something hrs on it. It has been phenomenal and it’s still going strong. I recently replaced the grease in the grease pot with fresh grease. But the old grease was still good. As long as you run it about 10 min or so every couple of months to move the rings around you’re good. I turn the grease knob about every 4-6 hrs,and clean the check valve about the same. I bought a GX-CS4 last year. They are sisters to the Omega Trail charger. It too has been great, plus it can go to 5800 psi. But those two will get a breather as I just bought a Daystate Super Leggero. But this is an Omega thread, so…. You can’t go wrong with the Aircharger. Not as fast as a YH. But waaaay quieter and has its own cooling system. Love it love it love it!!! Oh last thing. I did add a large blue moisture filter. But after 3 yrs, the molecular sieve was still perfect. As long as you bleed the line every 10 min or so moisture won’t be an issue Very good investment as I have multiple 45 and 60 min scba tanks. I shoot a lot and having unlimited air is Da-bomb!!! “ May there be no wind and the sun at your back”,shoot straight y’all.Grass..

Wow it’s like we read the same unwritten manual. Yeah bleed every 10 minutes and also I’ll add once done filling put a dead head , open the bleed and let it run all
The moisture out .

Yes I do. I have an Air Charger, A trail Charger and also a Pocket Charger. All are built like tanks thanks :) there’s a dive shop couple miles from me almost makes it pointless to own a compressor
Noooo why pay for air when you can do it yourself, plus you can top off your bottles to full pressure. Even if they loose pressure after cooling. All you gotta do pump, bleed, and wait till it shuts off. And dive shops sometimes don’t like to go 4500psi. If you’re in good with a fire department, they may fill too. But most won’t due to the liability…But,they’re your compressors,so if you like the dive shop great. But you got a good setup there whenever you want to use I.👍🏽😁 Rock on brother!

Omega Turbo compressor and definitely worth the money. 168 hours and had one issue which we repaired readily.
Operates quietly and fills quickly, but not too fast as to generate excessive heat due to compression.

If any of you have an omega compressor that you wish to part with and are located anywhere from San Jose, Ca to southern Oregon please DM me. I am highly interested in purchasing the setup!!

Much appreciated.
